    BB has got to be the best fox cartridge .We use the buffalo carts .Good pattern at 30 but still a killer at 40 .Solid slugs look like these mate and can only be fired in magnum shotguns ,these at least .Hatton Pattern!

    Ive only ever owned .243 but ive seen deer shot with most of the modern calibres .Bullet placement is the key to successful stalking not the round .In the dark ages when there was no calibre /bullet legislation ,we used to shoot fallow with a hornet and down they went,may have run a bit but that will happen with them all .Getting used to a particular rifle /bullet is in my humble opinion the best advice for anyone .Swapping and changing to find the ultimate is not conducive to good shooting .

Do you want to elaborate on this mate as you must be doing something im not and any advice is well recieved .Fox bites ,and i mean puncture wounds, are no problem to a terrier that is used to it .Slashes get filled with dirt and unless treated soon they go wrong.Tell me whats bullshit about that .

    Well done FD, you are having a good year. Do you process all the meat yourself? I will admit i was impressed with that roe sack of yours, are you still pleased with it? Is the back of it padded? I have your picture, the one where you are explaining how many roe you carried in sign language, saved on my computer........ It makes me smile every time I look at it ft Most goes to the dealer mate .Sack is padded at the straps and sits well with just the one in.Glad to see someone else other than Martin gets some enjoyment out of me struggling
