  2. If you havent the stomach for shooting cats then youve no right to be trapping them .Some of the questions on here are beyond me .If you are asked to do a job either payed or unpayed then either do it or pass it on .Cats are very easy to trap but the problem should not be transferred anywhere else .trap then shoot and bury .

  4. Our computers been up the creek big time but finally got the hang of using the daughters laptop. The end of July i was lucky enough to shoot this cracking buck from a high seat on one of my pieces of ground.Sat there until the last vestiges of decent light were gone and decided id better head back to the truck . i had the buttalo and as i stepped on the first rung to descend ,i squeaked the call in my pocket to which a buck came running through the hedge that the high seat is situated in .Dont know whether it was coincidence or what because as far as i was concerned at that time the rut ha

  10. Not knocking the lad for trying the spot as its maybe his only type of work BUT it seems there is a contingent of terriermen in this country that want to risk the lives of their so called pride and joy for the sake of proving a point or bravado .There is nothing brave or big about risking the life of a proven worker .There is much said about the staying ability of a terrier and rightly so but to test this to extreme knowing it could go either way shows little respect for these gallant workers ,several hours beneath the turf is test enough for any terrier .I admire the men who dig all day on a
  11. Mate .Blood trailing is very easy to teach incorporated with a treat of ofal .ANY dog with an ounce of work about it will take to it well ,its the end result when they find it that seperates the purpose bred dogs from the allrounder .Lay a blood trail ,about a metre apart out of sight of the dog and then take him on it with a lead ,giving him a reward when hes reached the end .Really is that simple ,Until recently i had a lurcher that excelled at it with no training at all but sadly shes on her way out .A gun dog of any breed is ideal for this work believe me .
