  3. '.Dont overdo the aniseed mate. Maize ,wheat and a touch of aniseed in one of Martins pipe feeders but lash it tight as they will knock it about.Molasses on the ground works too

One thing very noticeable was the fact that the sika stags stopped calling after the first morning .Pre dawn they were calling all over the woods on the first day but from then on silence .They could be induced but didnt call of their own free will .Very switched on animal to be respected in that enviroment .I also saw a goshawk right up behind a blackbird when sat in the seat at the larger ground .A male i thought and he ploughed into the fir emerging empty handed ,flew off screaming.Heard and saw a few grouse at the other place ,one right inside the fir too.Plenty of pine martin scat about a

  11. Do you not use specific stag hounds for yotes as in other states.Know nothing about it but surely a greyhound cross strong dog would have no trouble dealing with one .Might be talking out my arse but thats how i see it . Ps keep pics coming as this is very interesting for us Brits'.

  16. hi foxdropper, i just had a munty measured at the midland which made silver ,the left main beam was 11.7cm and the right 9.9cm, the brow tines were different sizes ,they said if it would have been symnetrical it would have made gold,silver is 58.5 points and gold is 61.I think if they over 11cm and pretty level they should make gold cheers mate
