Two New Birds For Me
Squirrel_Basher replied to PINNACLE's topic in Wildlife and General Photography
The small ring is country specific ,the lager above the knee is an international ring so it can be identified as a possible migrant . Did a bit for national trust recently and I asked that same question .WE have them and the smaller version nesting in a heronry on a nearby lake . -

Badgers In Daylight
Squirrel_Basher replied to Squirrel_Basher's topic in Wildlife and General Photography
Here in the South there is a distinct difference between a farm with them on and the cattle having tb versus those lucky enough not to have any and remsin tb free . Where I walk the dogs mostly ,the vet told the farmer the deer are just as bad ,drinking from troughs ,etc . We are smack bang in the middle of the cull zone come Autumn so we shall see what difference that makes . Farm that we rat on has an on going problem with badgers digging under the sheds which then allows access to a fox .The Polish workers found old brock curled up in the shelter pen recently with the proverbial egg on hi -
Badgers In Daylight

Like anything ,they are opotunists and will go WHERE the food is .Eggs ,young rabbits and carrion are mostly overlooked by many people as being part of their diet but it is .Dry spells are hard on them that I do know when slugs and snails, worms etc are hard to find . Imo there is a link between badgers and tb as well as deer . -
Went to his couple times with a mate. Was very evident he was a man with a wealth of knowledge and I listened. Saw few of his gifted terriers go too and was impressed . Sad news indeed ,RIP sir and condolences to the family .

Squirrel_Basher replied to iworkwhippets's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
Never heard of Cushing disease but is it a type of cancer . Lost a bitch while back to exact same thing .She was yellow all over ,pissing yellow and wobbling .My vet said it was lepto but I said enough is enough and did the right thing . Your pain is evident mate but you will look back knowing you did her right .All the very best to you ,your wife and hope that pup is half the dog Nell was . Chin up mate . -

Well said mate -
The problem you seem to frequently air on here ffs .Call yourself a man lol .The internet is a safe place for grievances ain't it lol. Pathetic really ,if your honest . I've been there ,done that and have grown out of it . Calling me names wont resolve your little man syndrome but if it makes you feel bigger then crack on ,been called worse by much better men and laughed that off too . I repeat again that I'd inform on anyone taking whats mine ,especially low life's leaving deer dead for me to find . The world's full of people thinking someone owes them something for free ,I pay for the st

See them a lot here -
Here's that plate bell end, not you was it . f**k it looks like photobucket caught up with me If killing deer and leaving them in the field is acceptable over there then they must be your type of dog men because they ain't mine . I've got no regrets whatsoever and would do it again if it protects what I consider mine . If you were the man you come on here bigging up you would sort your own problems too instead rallying troops around you . After my recent moan at the cork massive I see that's all died down ,the bullying of one man ,so sometimes putting the record straight works . listen b

Keep it simple .light float over depth ,sneaked into the margins.

Rather suspicious character asking questions in this section at moment .user name rather similar to squealer in question .

I hope you videoed the whole thing mate .

Didn't he give Braey his first terrier .Lol, Have a good one D .

The old saying was pork never kept condition well ,was slow to digest and needed freezing before feeding so ive never used it though ive access to dead piglets .
-
Piss taking fuckers aside lol, good pics and nice bunch mate .

Writing down everything not only gives you the background ,it gives you a path to take forward if you wish to breed the dog .Its also great reading ,if a big geeky ,when your older and reminiscing is all part of life .Christ ,sound like me dad . Nuttal is one of those paper geeks and will have it down if he bred it and whats more he will have it's ancestry too ,if your interested . Paper is only as good as what your feeding right now ,not worth anything if the proof isn't there to take digging .
-
Those two wont have a clue what the campaign is about . Hired on the day to look pretty .
-
Didn't notice the boar to be honest .Pork isnt anyones first choice for feeding raw to dogs but boar might be different .Minced may well be the way to go with that .
-
Not telling you how to do things mate but I'd be using that sparingly or your terriers will be shitting through the eye of a needle. The bones are great for restless mutts with flesh left on and ribs especially. Fed it for years cut with meal. Dogs will squit for sure depending how much they get to start with but good result mate ,make it last. See if you can leave it in the chiller whilst you deal with each carcass mate ,the longer it hangs cold, the easier it digests .
