Spot on Gnash . There are still groups willing to say and do exactly what goes against the mainstream grain . I get where King is coming from though .The majority of our true born nation seem to bury their heads in the sand ,pretending it’s not an issue but it very much is .Where did it all go fecking wrong .

Looks like a farm goose to me .There’s two on the lake by me with the canadas.Just a white greylag .Also 4 lesser canadas which are well off course . Last year we had two Egyptian geese and a black swan with them .Fecking things were tame as and used to try get in your bait box ?

As another tool though it can only help surely .We have a huge tract of woodland here owned by a German where the fallow retreat to daylight and cannot be touched .They raid farmland at night but are gone by daylight . With NV I reckon they would stand long enough for several shots to be taken .

Was a time when the deer all looked like £40 but with lack of outlets that died a while ago .Nowadays I get more enjoyment from guiding people especially firsts .Was a time when I went from farm to farm culling as many does as I could but nowadays it’s fine to just watch them and take a cull rather than blitz them . I do a market garden and it’s zero tolerance there so last ,last ,last light does occur ,often . I need fallow ground to really get into guiding but still waiting for the opportunity . Is it roe for you Born ?

Makes no sense at all to not allow night shooting .I’d say at a guess it’s the way to put 3 times more in the chiller .Just guessing mind ,maybe .?

The end consumer is the biggest issue facing large scale culling .Sort that and it would be a green light for vast tracts across England where only personal use is shot .

Coming up to the best time imo mate .Late Autumn when most of the natural food is in short supply and they have to go looking for it .I’ll wait til then as my squig ground is a fair trek just to shoot a few .

In Wicks this afternoon ,was served by a thing with pink hair ,false black fingernails and name tag Shawn . Spoke like a bloke ,walked like a woman and smelt like a moth ball .Nobody in front of me or behind me seemed to bat an eyelid . Im afraid I got the giggles and so did the wife .When did we stop taking the piss out of these wets ffs .

The brickies I had on the last job must of rode in on horses ,roughest crowd I’ve ever seen .Had to stop them and take down 12 courses of brickwork .Good pair of boots could of walked up the fecker . For me it would be a fur trapper in the USA . Wide open country with no fecker about .Living off the land ,surviving the elements and predators .

For what it’s worth you will never filter fully unless passing through external media mate . If you want that set up to filter the water you will at some time have to disturb everything to clean the media ,sludge and particles . Set up an external filter that pumps clean water back in .You can slow that up exactly as you’ve quoted with rocks or baffles as Katch said . Set up an inline tap which reduces the inflow to whatever suits. Dont try filtering in the holding tank mate . Very easy to make a filter ,gravity fed .Large media in the bottom with coarse filter pads next thr
