  1. I remember that day well dude. Was one of the best alright. Bodie announced his arrival in some style that day.
  2. Do a search , this thread has been done to death.
  3. I love this site........... Lol
  4. anyone who digs for sport should be finished by now. cubs are born by now and a terrier could wipe out a full litter in a few minutes. not great for your future sport. start a little earlier if u want a longer season when the cubs are big . but in my opinion the middle of feb should be time to quit
  5. Yes fat man, mickey r has been digging away . My digging partner has been down with him alot but I havent been able to get this season
  6. Thats it lukey mate. P had a decent season, not as much as other years but he still got plenty of work for the dogs. Were finished up now
  7. Pretty rubbish season for me this year, work commitments had me staying away from home for a big part of the season so I missed out on alot of digging time. I only had 25 digs, so none of my 3 workers got alot of sport. Hopefully next season will be better.

  9. Totally agree with you turkey. Cant see why any digging man would want to be in a book to draw attention to the sport. I hear there is a new book being written about irish terriermen at the momant. I think anyone involved should have a good look at themselves and catch themselves on. The whole idea should be scrapped, advertising digging in ireland for all to see is maddness . Theres enough pressure from the anti hunt brigade as it is.
  10. Thats question is too hypithetical. Lots of young lads do and lots dont.
  11. Dont get me wrong foxdropper if i knew of such a line. I to be honest over here i dont , then yes i would ask for his opinion .especially if the line is very consistant and producing a high percentage of top quality terriers. Would be silly not to. But as i say i dont know of such a "line" over here
  12. there are so many factors to consider. If the terrier was bought then no. Surely u could ask his opinion but you have no obligation to do anything. Now on the other hand, if this breeder gave the terrier to u and there was an understanding or condition maybe at the time. Then yes you should honour it. To be honest i would not take the gift of a terrier with conditions of what i am or am not allowed to do with the pup.
  13. Good man lukey good to see your getting some sport
  14. Type troy and turbo terriers into google images.there are photos of both on there
  15. Some bitches wont be affected by it at all.some will be giddy and odd.i dont hunt my bitches when they are in season.
  16. Wee drop of bleach dilited in water .sprayed into the wound each day .keeps it nice an clean and prevents infection
  17. Personally neil I think your being very arrogant and dismissive of people who use a bar. If u don't like it that's fine but there are others who find them very handy tools. I use a bar on EVERY dig,and wouldn't go to an earth without one. As dee says, horses for courses, every man has their own way of doing things.
