  1. Thank you !! I thought I was going mad for a minute.
  2. Come on boys, it's a Friday night and you have both mentioned them initials, are you both on a death wish??
  3. Fair play DC, we all have them types of outgoings with a young family. I have 2 young daughters, missus, 5 terriers, car, house to run etc, however I'm not on these meteoric wages that are being spoken of on here. Do I live under a stone or is there some exaggerations going on on this thread?
  4. I feel like I'm missing out on something here BIG TIME! So with all this money that's being made I'm guessing you boys are all in £400k+ houses?
  5. There is a mad building boom around where I live atm, housing estates are literally springing up EVERYWHERE. Which means more men needed in every trade, but it will eventually slow then what will all of them do? PS . I know of a real good brickie that is on £100 a day and is happy with it, do i live in some sort of third world bubble or are the wages I'm saying normal?
  6. Surely it can't be sustainable? That bubble has got to burst at some point?
  7. £150 a day for labouring?!? I've got mates that do plastering that get £120 a day and joiners that will get less. Is that some sort of mad internet exaggeration? I mean £750 a week to labour? I simply can't believe thats true at all.
  8. Seems to have been a decent bitch her DC. Shame you got nothing from her. Good to see the young lad has taken a keen interest.
  9. Nice to look back over previous seasons Shane, I'd imagine there's a fair few terrier lads itching to get out now! I know I am. And can't beat them 'deep' ones?, I sometimes feel ashamed to class them as a dig?.
  10. Thanks Dilly, the breeding's there as you know, just hope he follows suit.?
  11. Back to topic, one for next Season.
  12. I've no doubt there are some pure's about, but what I'm saying is from what I've read on here it seems a common practise that Lakelands are added to bring the size down, add more prey drive or whatever. So my question is where do you draw the line where what you keep are no longer Bedlingtons?
  13. It's probably because the lads that keep it right usually only breed the odd litter when really necessary and the pups would all be spoken for long before they were born. In fact, It's quite refreshing that Rob hasn't been offered pups for sale on here, it shows that there's not many of the dog dealer types coming onto here anymore. Nothing against you Rob, hopefully you find what you're after.?
  14. That's my point I suppose, there seems to be a bit of a quarrel going on between different Bedlington owners on here about who's are the best etc etc when really it seems no one has a Pure one and they're basically all Fell types that looks like Bedlingtons? So why is there such controversy and bitchiness between each other?
  15. Check out the Bellman and Flint website, they have a good locator system.
  16. Fantastic work, I can't put into words how good that is.
  17. With all this outcrossing to different breeds, is there not a point where you stop classing your dogs as Bedlingtons? That's an open question to anyone.
  18. Whites? I had you down as a Black dog man Apache.
  19. The answer (to the original question) is Hare Coursing matches have big wagers on them whereas a couple of digs on a Sunday morning don't. And it's a simple as that I think.
