It's threads like this one that reassure me about THL. A chap has come on asking for advice, got some good sound advice and an invite out. Doesn't it make you proud of our community? Easy answer to that Haymin.... when you've got a decent 8 page thread with 4 pages of crap tacked onto the end it's not fair to just hit delete. Some folks deliberately set out to ruin good threads, and the decent members don't deserve to have their topics deleted just because a few members want to compare dick sizes and wreck a good thread. Sometimes it's quicker and easier to delete, but you have to do what's best in each individual case. Again, I would ask all members to help keep the forum a decent place by using the report function. Far from it. I've actually been in a really good mood all day, and I still am... Just imagine if I had been in a bad mood Yes. However, reading through four or five pages of rubbish and deciding which posts stay and which go takes a while. There is nothing more frustrating than tidying up a thread just to find a load of replies and quotes have been made while you were busy doing it....... hence the short lock up. OK, Gaz, tell me which threads I've locked that didn't need it? And just to remind you; membership isn't compulsory; if you don't like it, don't log in! Yes, the moderators are here to keep things legal and above board, but we also have to see that members obey the rules which include not posting inflammatory or derogatory rubbish. It's quite rare that I even bother to moderate posts or members; usually following reports or private messages to me, or when I happen to stumble on some THL forum warriors who want to play silly buggers and muck up otherwise decent threads. PMSL @ 'lurcherville' comment; fantastic..... As Ian says, if they don't advertise on here they will advertise elsewhere. Taking the moral high ground and condemning those who breed dogs will make no difference at all. We all have to start somewhere, and this seems like as good a place as any to look for a dog or a hamster or whatever. While we all despise those who treat dogs as commodities that can be traded for a bit of dosh or swapped for the next fad, banning folks with low post counts from advertising will have no effect. Question for all the moaners; when have you ever reported a post? The moderators are here to help; but we cant be on the whole forum all of the time. I can't speak for the others, but I get email notification of reported posts and usually act any reports straight away. You've got to remember that twats are twats and will advertise whether you've got a post limit or donation or whatever. We rely on members to report shite so we can deal with it. And don't start with all the grass bollocks either Do your bit to keep the forum good and don't start moaning threads.....
