The Stealth is much quieter and easier to clean than the Hushpower. I've owned both, and my current Stealth pump action has accounted for a serious amount of vermin.

Yep, I accept that and apologise if that's the way I come across sometimes Grant, I totally understand and accept what you are saying. Sometimes other members forget that as moderators we also have opinions on things, and often enjoy a joke and a bit of banter. It's a funny thing Grant; things get blown out of proportion very easily on here. Somebody earlier suggested that I'm forever locking threads that didn't need locking, but failed miserably to name a single one, and now here you are suggesting that I've been threatening to ban folks. Neither is correct In fact, I issued my first ban yesterday, and that was for someone who had registered under a different username after another moderator had banned him. For text talk yes, I agree. But your warning wasn't for text talk Pip; as you well know yes i know but ive never caused or given crap out or text talked i just thought it was uncalled for and so did a few more members not that it would bother you like You are dead right. It doesn't bother me in the slightest.

As I keep saying, there is lots going on behind the scenes that people can't see. Myself and another mod are trying to help a couple of members who suffer with dyslexia, but some folks can't/won't be helped. If I warn someone for text talk and subsequently see them trying to improve the way they post then I do all I can to encourage them.

I agree Socks, and like you, I moderate on some other sites and usually find the 'light touch' works best. Trouble is, we have getting on for 50,000 members on here and it's always the same few causing the biggest problems. You may well know and understand what is involved in moderating, but you don't know the history in this particular case, nor can you see the posts that have been removed from this thread. Do you justify and explain every moderating decision you make on the sites you moderate on? Somehow I doubt it. Just for the record, I've had several PM's off members thank

Like I said earlier Socks, sometimes you can't see the whole picture because offensive posts are removed and you don't have the benefit of seeing other members warn history. I am not getting into individual reasons for warning or banning folks; it's not fair to do so. There is quite a bit that goes on 'behind the scenes' as it were...

As above Scot. Offensive posts are usually deleted, and members don't see the warn history of other members. You can be sure that if you try and bait a moderator (or two in this case) and start waving your cock around and asking to be deleted, you will be gone....
