Well been chatting to my mum, some interesting pictures regards soldiers within our family, boys primary school held armastice day and both of mine went in beavers/scout uniform with poppy attached. Some old pics of great grandfather with his brothers...Boer and war first world war. Lest we forget.

Working outside in all weathers standing at a bench for 12 hrs a day, unhealthy lifestyle associated with contracting , repetitive strains , being overweight. I kinda guessed you'd be on here , gym bunnies need not apply lol, but seriously unhealthy lifestyles and habits aside, body parts wear out, I've had to start wearing glasses this year, joints etc are no different , I did foundry work for a decade working in 40' stood on concrete legs covered in varicose veins, also going from work that is relatively light to something substantially heavier is never good. Definitely getting older, and going from pipe welding to steel erecting last week was a shock to the system, back aching hanging out of cherry pickers trying to swing beams etc then a day on a 9inch grinder, undoubtedly I'm out of shape and overweight. I just need to think of longevity really, but wanted to get myself on the job, the proper steel erector is completely knackered, hobbles everywhere, got gout, sprains , has surgery on spine etc. Back to some pipe and have another little think about getting into inspection or health and safety or some shit. ??

Yep well got hold of drs reception after an hour of trying need to wait for a call now. For the record I wasn't crying ? but felt like spewing at 2am. I've had a few bumps in life broken head and bones, got metal pins in hand , tear on knee joint. But this was new to me admittedly I'm a bit of a wuss with man flu?, I'm more worried about keeping this job tbh and if I can I will be in tomorrow morning, no sick pay for subbies either. Asked supervisor to get a laborer on the nine inch so fully expecting some butchered steel to weld ?

Well I'm not dead lol, but had to call in sick on a good local job, on fryup Thursday of all days. Feels better than earlier might be ibuprofen building up. Yes I've been double jabbed. Hopefully get some stronger painkillers off of Dr , and with luck it'll settle on its own with having to have injections or owt. Cheers for info

Been awake since 2am with this, taken paracetamol and ibuprofen, ibuprofen gel. Nothing is touching it. Front of shoulder travelling down my arm , pain is nauseating. I presume using a 9inch grinder most of yesterday has torn/irritated something. I've tried ice, seemed worse, only relief is over my head . Anyone had this? What were solutions?

Okay, ran out of lumpwood , got some West Sussex on order to try. So did a brisket the Mrs got on offer in Morrisons in the oven.. She's also doing some keto diet so did a version of cauliflower cheese...Fry bacon carrot onion garlic, add whole chopped up broccoli, add butter , half litre of double cream, handful cheese , salt pepper, two spoon of English mustard, Chop bite size cauliflower pieces add to a casserole dish pour over the pan mix add cheese bake for 40 mins. Kids weren't fussed on veg ingrates. So will do them some chips shortly but they ate the brisket. Me and miss
