    It depends entirely on how serious it is ! That's your call to make wether to take the pup to the vet or treat it yourself. If it's not to serious, keep the wounds clean, (dettol will do), and close with super glue, if needed. No running around for a few days and it should be fine. Cheers.

    Never had anything to do with Hancock; but he is what he is : a breeder and seller of Collie Lurcher pups ! He doesn't make extravagant claims about his dogs, and you get exactly what you expect, (which is more than can be said for a lot of the "backyard breeders" ) !! If you want a pup bred from generations of workers..... don't buy from him !! Simple !! Some people who have had dogs from him rate them, others don't; but the majority who slate him probably have never had a dog from him. Cheers.

    The ban changed nothing as regards fox hunting. In fact there are more Hunts now than before the ban. Also, more foxes are killed by shooting than with dogs. Urban Foxes are proliferating because of thing like food waste being dumped on the streets, overflowing bins because they aren't emptied as regularly, etc. The amount of leftover Macdonalds, etc, on street corners is unbelievable.     I use a 240 Blitz, I think it's got by far the best beam for the work I do. Downside is it's size ! You can't hide it in your pocket ! LOL ! I use 12v 12a sealed batteries, carry one and a spare in the car. They do me a night. I got an electronic charger from Maplins for about £18. They don;t boil the battery and are fool proof, can't cause damage if connected the wrong way ! All teamed up with an old army gas mask case, does the job for me ! Cheers.

    Don't waste your time on a "starter lamp", mate. Save up and buy the best you can. Believe me, if you buy a cheap 'un, you'll be wanting to upgrade before long, and it will be false ecomomy ! Cheers.

    If you are unlucky enough to have a 6 monthly bitch, and you give her 3 months off after every season, you're NEVER going to get any work out of her !! My bitches are yearly, but I still work them; yes, their performance drops off slightly, but nothing to worry about. I've done this with every bitch I've had and noticed no adverse affects on their health ! Cheers.

Don't get me wrong, I like at least 50% Greyhound in my Lurchers, but I can't see what else they add apart from speed.I think they are the only base breed to add this in the amount needed. Yes Whippets can add speed, but not as much. Salukis add stamina and all the other breeds add their bit; nose, coat, feet, etc. But for the life of me I can't see what else a Greyhound adds ! Cheers.
