  1. I don't think Bunnys is Whin...... but I'm sure they played truant from the same school !! LOL !! Cheers.
  2. Has he beed deleted for any specific reason; or just generaly talking shite ?? Cheers
  3. I can't understand why anyone is complaining about the price ? If you want one.. you pay the money; if you don't want one... why worry about it ? There are lapdogs going for more than twice this amount, and stupid "designer" dogs going for more than this !! I, personaly wouldn't pay anything like that for a pup, of ANY breeding, but if someone else wants to, that's THEIR business ! Cheers.
  4. Absolutely nothing wrong with giving a pup a few easy'uns in the summer ! But I'd have to question your statement about "wasting a couple of months". A decent dog could give you 6,7, or even 8 seasons of graft, so you'd hardly be wasting a few months at the beggining of it's career. Cheers.
  5. This topic is allways coming up; and usualy breaks down into two camps ; Those who say it's killing our own sport, ( yet I know for a FACT that there are people who condemn summer hunting, but do it THEMSELVES !!); and those who say they HAVE to do it, as they are Pest Controllers, (by heck, there must be a lot of "Pest Controllers" around !! LOL !!). As has been said, if they had did their job during the winter, they wouldn't be getting "call outs" in the summer ! At the end of the day, if your dog puts up a rabbit when out for a walk, it ISN'T "hunting", if you go out with your lamp or go wa
  6. Collies/ Bedlington terriers and sundry other dogs have been bred to do totally different jobs to a lurcher for generations yet they are added and bring qualitys to a lurcher line. What do pointers bring?, leg, nose, stamina and to be honest compared to a lot of lurchers I've seen, brain. And aren't there pleanty of tried and tested, for generations, breeds that bring leg, nose stamina to the "Lurcher" table, such as Deerhound, Saluki, etc ? I'll ask again. What will a Pointer bring to the table that recognised breeds can't ?? Cheers. To be brutally honest with you mat

  14. But surely a Pointer has been bred for over a hundred years TO STAND OFF FROM IT'S QUARRY and "point", hence the name !! So, I'll ask again.... what advantage can a Pointer bring to Lurcher breeding ??? Cheers.
  15. They have been bred for generations to do a totaly different job to a Lurcher, so what possible advantage could they, Pointers, bring ? Cheers.
  16. WHY ??? Why would anyone want to add Pointer to a Lurcher ?? Cheers,
  17. Whin, youre way out of order mentioning Alan.... he made his name with his dogs.... not bullshitting on a website !! Cheers,
  18. Iv'e got two decent bitches in my kennel now, totaly unrelated. If I used the litter brother of one over the other one, then started to "line breed" them, could I call them " Lemington Lurchers" and sell the pups for big bucks ?? "Chartshaws", "Polskis"..... Come on lads !! I need a bit help for my retirement !! LOL !! Cheers.
  19. Whin..... were you even born when Vic started this line ?? Cheers.
  20. Whin. I met you a week or so ago at Morpeth Show. You were genial and decent craic, BUT you are the same in person as you are on site...you only talked about yourself, your dogs, and you STILL managed to get "big land", "Dutch Salmond", etc. into one sentance ! Me and Gin simply couldn't get a word in edgeways ! LOL ! I've nowt against you, but you sure live in a world of your own !! Cheers.
  21. Slaughter Squad......are you the same squad as WHIN, SHanded, PikeyLamper, etc ? You sure sound like it ! Cheers.
  22. I'm not a Collie fan, BUT, I can see what Andy has done by crossing Jack with a REAL Collie ! He now has a dog, Don, who will be a great sire, to add to his line, or be an outcross to a greyhound or a heavily greyhound blooded line. Ive said it a few times before, and it may not suit the "puirists"m but I'd like to see Don over a Greyhound ! Cheers.
  23. Bunny's; I like and respect your posts... but for fucks sake stop spelling "AS" as " HAS" !! Why the f**k you have to do it every time is doing my head in !! It would be far easier to read and understand your posts if you didn't do it !! Cheers. Edited to add.. there is no "H" in "is"... come 'on man !!
  24. DEARS !! Dear, It's DEARS !! Not Deers !! Cheers, (Not Deers).
