    There's some pure Borzoi's running in Oz, and some crosses in the US, and I've met a guy from Ireland who has Borzoi/Saluki/Greyhounds. Of course, they run them in Russia and Central Asia, but is there a niche for them here ? I'd love to see a top class Borzoi running here, but I doubt they would do any better than a decent Deerhound/Greyhound. Cheers.

    My brother has fished the north east coast all his life, and regularly collects "willicks", (as we call them, up here), also mussels, and he's never heard of needing a permit. That's not to say they haven't brought one in; just look what they've done to scrap collecting !!! Cheers.

    Seen some good ones and seen some bad ones, as with ALL crosses; was it down to the dog or the handler ? I've only ever had one Collie X, and it was OK on rabbits, but was useless to me as I like an "allrounder". It could jump like a stag, but lacked the speed for hares. Of course, I can't equate ALL Collie X's on the performance of this one, but it DID sour my view of ever owning another. Some people swear by them, and Typp Ratcher was telling me the number of hares that Collie Johns Dogs were taking and I believe him, but I think they are the exception rather than the rule. Of c
