Love him or loathe him, Farage will have a big say on politics next year with the General Election, the Tory's have probably got the most to worry about as Reform will split the "rights" vote, but the left hate him so much because of Brexit, they will be digging furiously for any dirt they can find. Been out with dogs and at the allotment all morning, home for one o'clock to watch the darts and record the snooker, going to my nephews to watch the football then the rugby then maybe the fight and I'll record tonight's snooker and darts. There doesn't seem to be enough hours in a day these days ! Lifes not all bad for us pensioners ! Cheers.

As far as I’m aware, Chinese MG’s had their final assembly and PDI done in the UK at Longbridge until recently. The Chinese pulled out and all assembly and PDI is now done in China to save money. Will this affect quality and reliability ? Who knows. Cheers.

Yes, with western technology and plant. The Great Wall used Japanese engines but the build quality was shit. MG isn’t a good example, they were shit when they were built here ! Cheers.

Just a microcosm look at Chinese technology; I was in Australia and there was a promotion display of the Chinese Great Wall Steed pick up. I had a look round and they seemed ok, especially for the ridiculously low price. A couple of years later my local Citroen dealers was full of them, a bargain compared to the mainstream pick ups. Six months later they were gone and it was back to being a Citroen dealership. Later on I was at a shoot and a lad pulled up in one, he got out, slammed the door and the back window popped out and shattered ! I asked him what he though

I'm not sure they would form a new party, and if they did, I'd expect it to be after the Tory's get decimated. Who knows, maybe the sitting Tory MP's I've mentioned may defect to Reform, apart from Mogg, he's Tory to the core, even if his party is moving to the left and leaving him isolated on the right. Farage was feted by the Tory right at the Conservative convention, and the rumours about him rejoining the Tories may have been a diversion while he tries to convince disaffected tories to join him in Reform or a new party. I’d vote for a party of predominantly right of centre candidates. I couldn’t vote for the now left of centre Tory’s; I lent them my vote last time to get Brexit done and to keep that traitorous old communist Corbyn out of number ten, but the Tory’s squandered an eighty seat majority with in-fighting. No way could I ever vote Labour again, they are now the party of Islington champagne socialists, Muslims and immigrants, I feel they have abandoned the British working class. So, if a new party that, by and large, mirrored my political view, they would get my vote. Cheers.

Boris Johnson has joined GBNews. Now that's Boris, Farage and the Tory MP's Rees-Mogg, Lee Anderson, Esther McVey and Philip Davies. Are they positioning themselves to start a new political party when the Tory's get the inevitable mauling at the next General Election ? The GB Party perhaps ? I'd vote for them. Cheers.

We were in the Black Garter, mate, you're lucky to get a glass in there, let alone a half schooner ! LOL ! The Germans were amazed at how cheap the beer was, I told them they were in probably the cheapest bar in Newcastle, apart from "Peppers", that is, but I wouldn't send even a German there ! Cheers.

To be honest, hallow'een was nowhere near as popular as Guy Fawkes night here in the north east when I was a kid, and I can't remember anyone going "trick or treating", possibly because of the slums and poverty of Newcastle, putting food on the table for your own kids was a far bigger priority than giving sweets to strangers kids back in the 50's.
