I don’t regret getting the covid jab. I still got covid, but all depends on you view; Was the jab ineffective because it didn’t stop me getting covid ? Or, maybe the jab may have prevented my covid infection from being worse or even fatal for someone of my age ? I really don’t know, but on reflection I don’t regret getting the jab. Others will think differently and I respect their opinions, I’d like to think they respect mine. Cheers.

My grandson is here from Saudi, I normally take him to the swimming pool a few times but two local ones have been closed due to council cuts and the third is closed for the winter for maintenance ! I’ll have to look a bit further afield! Cheers.

I’m a Trump supporter but laugh when I remember people accusing him of saying we should drink bleach and mouthwash to fight covid…….now he’s the scourge of “ big pharma” and the saviour of the world ! I wish people would be more consistent ! LOL ! Cheers.

I’m not trying to rebut what you’re saying Scotty, but I can only give my own experience. Im in the middle of harvesting the last of this seasons plants at the allotments, and I moved the last of my chilli plants out of the polly tunnel and into the greenhouse to ripen last week because the sun was shining, and it did for two or three days. I’m no metrologist but don’t we have a high pressure anticyclone every year around November which produces these weather patterns ? Farage has been quoting this for years as a reason why we can’t depend fully on wind and solar power alone, and must have base load backup . Cheers.

The only thing that would bring this socialist/communist government down would be a general strike….. but Labour have already bought off the unions, the railways, the civil service, the NHS, so that’s the public sector onside. The private sector is so far in debt with mortgages, overdrafts, credit card debt, etc, that they don’t have the heart to go on strike. GBNews reported Trump going over the 270 more than an hour ago, around the same time as your screen shot. If Sky were late in reporting it that just shows their bias. It’s well known that mainstream media were massively against Trump but it hasn’t affected the result. Cheers.

I see your first point slightly different; Trump was on 266 and there still was a mathematical chance Harris could overtake him if she won everyone of the “swing” states that hadn’t declared. The Republicans saw the exit polls, votes cast , and saw it was extremely unlikely that Trump wouldn’t get the 4 votes needed and so Trump declared himself the winner. The media couldn’t declare him the winner, although GBNews did, until it was mathematically impossible for him to lose, I.e. reaching the magic 270. Electoral college votes are what counts, not the popular vote. It’s possible to win a huge majority of the EC vote and lose the popular vote. Its 276 to 219 at the moment in the EC vote, so it’s not close, it’s a landslide in the US voting system. It could change as the last states votes come in, it could be an even bigger win for Trump or it could close slightly, but it doesn’t matter; Trump has crossed the magic 270 ! Cheers.
