    To be fair, I talk to Max a lot, and have had a day at the Whippet racing with him; Yeah he’s outspoken, and winds people up , but there’s been worse on here. Let him back on….. if he makes a c**t of himself, ban him again, but FFS, Greb has been given dozens of chances, and I’ve nothing against Greb. OK; Max has this weird Sunderland/ Newcastle obsession, but but he knows his running dogs, just let the moderators do a fair job . Just my opinion of course . Cheers.

    Do you honestly believe that Elvis is alive and living as a 72 year old pastor ? Do you honestly believe Trump is going to introduce a law allowing celebrities who have faked their own deaths to return “without harassment “, whatever that means ? Yes, I’ll never stop learning , I don’t know everything and never will, but I’m fairly certain Elvis died . Cheets.

    That just reminded me of the aftermath of the Gulf wars. When the British and Americans pulled out they left behind an unbelievable amount of kit. We managed to get hold of a container of British RatPacks and one of American MRE’s. The British meals were, in my mind , far superior to the Yanks. One item was incredibly popular with us was the tins of Bacon Grill, usually unobtainable in the Middle East for obvious reasons, and commanded a big premium if it was sold, but me and the family lived for months off the stuff ! LOL ! Cheers.

    I well remember nutritious, wholesome meals made with cheap cuts of meat like lamb lap or ribs, ham shank, belly pork, ( yes, it was a cheap cut at one time !) scrag end, neck end, oxtail, etc. Not long ago I asked the butcher if he had any lamb lap or scrag end; he didn’t know what I was talking about, now lamb lap is “ rolled breast”, and scrag end is “neck joint or neck chops”. Rabbit used to be a cheap meat, not now, last ones I saw in a butchers were £11 each ! Chicken is still relatively cheap and a chicken stew made in the slow cooker is a great meal, as is ham broth.

    My brothers allotment backs on to the Ouseburn as it leaves Gosforth park and enters the city, and there are otters in there now. Yeah , we called it tatey pot aswell. Cheers.

    Has anyone heard of “The South Sea Bubble” ? It was a Ponzi scheme backed by the British government 300 years ago to pay for the wars against France and Spain. Shares were sold and lies were told about how well they were doing and many investors went bankrupt but a few already rich people got richer. I can see some parallels between this and crypto currency’s. Where are all the billions coming from ? Cheers.

    It’s been known for hundreds of years that California lies on one of the earths great tectonic faults and it’s a case of when, not if, a major earthquake will occur. We may not know everything that HAARP is responsible for, but linking it to a California earthquake is a bit of a stretch. Cheers.

    Keep up Stiffy lad ! The military tribunals will be for those mad Blowfeld types at the University of Alaska that are using HAARP to control our minds and cause earthquakes in their own country ! I wondered how long it would be before HAARP got the blame, (again), for the weather changes ! Cheers.
