  1. Fair do’s, Wright had a 101 average and hit his doubles. I think the mind games played by Wright in the build up may have affected Humphries . Cheers.
  2. Kettlewells was the last game dealer in the Grainger market. He was a pal of mine and I got all my dog food from him. Last time I was there was a few months ago with a cousin from Cyprus, originally from Byker. He wanted some nostalgia, I told him not to get his hopes up, it’s all vape shops, etc and very few butchers now. The Black Garter pub is still a decent place for a drink on match day, and very cheap aswell, but the market is now a shadow of its former self. Cheers.
  3. A walk on a deserted beach with the old dog….. Cheers.
  4. 72 , and to use the quote from “ The Outlaw Josey Wales”; “As pert as a rutting buck “ ! LOL ! Cheers.
  5. You know how pedantic I can be , LOL , but Tagalog is, or was, also written in other scripts to Latin alphabet, such as baybayin and Sulat Tagalog. All the Filipinos I know speak Taglish, a mixture of Tagalog and English. Slightly off topic but one of my god daughters who is half Welsh half Filipina qualified for the Ironman World Championships in New Zealand as an Asian Champion . She did extremely well seeing as she’s in her 30’s , a mother of twins and a full time dentist, not a professional athlete. The Aussies and American professionals were to much for her, bu
  6. Yeah, it does look more Thai than Tagalog. I need to brush up on my Austronesian dialects ! LOL ! Cheers.
  7. Me, the dog, the lamp and an hour or two out at night. The allotment. My man cave. All different but equally pleasing . Cheers.

  9. Looks like Tagalog, Thailand . Cheers.
  10. It’s a shame the two Luke’s are in the same half of the draw. They are easily the two best players in the world. Cheers.
  11. I’ve had tragedies in my life that I wouldn’t wish on any man, mate, so a bit of gentle ribbing by good lads on a hunting site makes me smile ! Lifes to short, especially at my age, to be angry or bitter about things that don’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Have a great new year and go easy on the sangria…or not ! LOL ! Cheers.
  12. I also got some export strength vodka and gin; 50% and 47 % respectively. Theyll probably last me until next Christmas ! Cheers.
  13. Fame at last ! LOL ! Anyway, I’m glad I’ve brought some fun to the festivities ! Heres one of my gifts; A Newcastle themed bottle opener for the man cave. Cheers.

  20. My daughter in law who is Saudi , brought this for me when she was here a few weeks ago; Evidently it what’s known as a “shirket” . I never seen them when I was in Saudi, but it’s great here in Newcastle. ! Cheers.
  21. All the best , Mackem, wherever you are, from a fellow traveller. Cheets.
  22. Hey ! This is a man who trecked through the Khyber Pass and navigated the Hindu Kush in nothing but flip flops and a guhtra ! Have some respect ! Bismillah !
  23. “Innocent until proven guilty “ is a complete fallacy; otherwise no one would be held on remand; no one would spend a night in the police cells before coming up before a magistrate the next morning. Of course dangerous people and criminals need locked up, but “innocent until proven guilty” is nonsense, as is “policing by consent” . Who gave them consent ? I was never asked ! The police are the foot soldiers of the politicians, they owe allegiance to the government, not the people. We are simply the tax payers who supply the money for the politicians, none of who are actually qua
