  1. Why you selling them half price RA??The reccession's hitting EU poley sales now
  2. Chimp did you not use your bookie's pen catty last night??You'd have doubled that bag...easily .Nice to see the 17 saving them dogs from running around after rabbits & that......
  3. I never rang in when i used my air rifle...never seen any police around my permission in the 4yr i'd been shooting/ferreting on.Got the FAC & carried on the same way however one day the helicopter was out,5 mins later a van arrives with a decent copper who did a bit of shooting himself, now i always phone in. I would rather the plod know where i am shooting as oppossed to a load of blue lights everywhere & having to explain what i'm doing with my rifle.
  4. Depends on what the land is passed for firstly. It's ok saying put in for this & that but the basics need to be covered first. How much shooting experience do you have?ever used a centrefire, ever used a rimfire?can anyone vouch for that experience...depending what police force you come under some applications may be atttached with mentoring clauses. If your lands passed for rimfire i would'nt bother with FAC air,.22LR will do very nicely for rabbits & hares(if their in such vast numbers)...for fox .22 Hornet will do the job but if you get centrefire on your first application it may h
  5. Check out Shoota Matt & see if he'll lend you his hobs as they are "cat killers" ....our estates got loads of cats,we've got a cat & my lot have never had any bother.Even if the moggy was at the cage front what's it going to do???pull out a pair of bolt croppers cut the wire or locks & then get into the court & have a good mix up with the ferts??????????
  6. Well it's getting to that time of year isn't it....why bother with the time & expense of bringing up kits when you can just go out & nick someone's ferrrets, kids or not when any livestock is stolen it's heartbreaking & the worry that the animal(s) won't be getting looked after the way they've been used too. I've been through it many years ago & i do my best too make sure it does'nt happen again....utter trust is a deadly thing.
  7. Not EU's must be the Wolverine's he's got in with the ferrets.....god this forum is desperate now
  8. Your not related to No1 FerretKeeper are you check out his story.....same as yours
  9. Was'nt a good game, both sides poor really.20 mins of huffing & puffing by SAFC & that was it .Anyway you Mags enjoy the bragging rights for now....your time will come
  10. Still they spout off about how great they are... Wonder how long before Pardew gets fired & King Kev comes back for another payday
  11. Eye,no doubt he'll score,it's the only time he does ...on paper we should beat you's....then again look at last season .No Nolan,Carroll to bully us this time tho
  12. My first poley hob(circa1987) had cataracts in both eyes, he lived till his early teens...took a good while before his sight went as far as i can remember...he was still very active & got around fine.
  13. Well No1FerretKeeper,what a stroke of luck that was...jill goes missing & 41 days later out pops some wild x ferret kits.Don't know what the f**k's up with the ferret forum at the moment...loads of pish about EU's,blah,blah,blah...tell you what to with them mate...for sale section £50 each,no doubt they'll sell well...after all who in their right mind would want a tame, workable run of the mill ferret
  14. Bags for a £100 worth of shopping...the way it's going it'll be 1 bag for a £100 worth of shopping(tin of beans & a small loaf)!!
  15. Can't believe you've posted this ..shotgun locked away in a pub, owners drinking downstairs....recipe for disaster should you get your collar felt by a savvy copper or someone makes a phone call
  16. Impressive shooting for that range with the .17 It's a good round when conditions are favourable. For me i use it as a "gain extra 30-50 yds" on my trusty .22lr.Sure if i put the effort in i could get a lot more out of this calibre as your doing yourself
  17. You can get the Beaphar Ferret shampoo from pets at home....i only give mine a bath once a year just as their finishing the winter moult.
  18. Darryl,it,s just her hormones. One of my jill's does exactly the same.Hairy arms & hands must be kit like for some hormonal jills.
  19. Tend to have "creep" in them however a £12 trigger kit from SYSS sorts that out, simples.I,ve got 2 CZ 452's(HMR & 22LR) can't fault them...
  20. Put a SAK on it....job done. You don't get much more DB reduction for spending 2-3 times the cash that a SAK costs.....check out the shooting times review on HMR mods
  21. Alladyce might not be the best for flair, passing football but when your in the Championship you,ve got to kick your way out of that league.Granted i would'nt want him at Sunderland while were in the PL BUT if we were in WHU position it's worth a shot.....As for DIOUF he's nothing but a never has been, waste of a shirt mercenary
  22. Liam, you CAN shoot on others permission as a guest.Ace 32 & meself have our own permissions & have verbal permission only from each others landowner...ie we must be in each others company on the respective land.If was to invite you to my place,i would ask my landowner for verbal permission for you to shoot as a guest & as long as he says yes, there's no problems.
  23. IMO you can't blame the players for wanting as much loot out of their careers as possible, yes the amounts are crazy that the players are paid but that's the way the game is.It's human nature to get the most £££ you can by doing the least for it.I,m a Sunderland supporter & when Bent left for Villa i was gutted but the shite he came out with bigger club, history ,etc was laughable....what he failed to say was that Villa had offered him 80K a week as opposed to the mear 50K a week SAFC were paying him at the time
  24. Elton John's releasing a tribute single called Sandles in the bin
  25. For me a good depth of fine clean pine shavings & clean barley straw. As previously said don't use hay as the kits could get wrapped up in it & it can cause the "sweats".You might want to get yourself a tin of Lactol & a feeding bottle just incase things go wrong with the jill.
