    Only happened to me once as a teenager.I had 5 ferrets in the court,bred a litter & kept a poley jill.Moved the kit in around 10-12 weeks,no problems however came in to feed them & a jill was eating the kit,head first.Thing was the jill eating it was the most placid,poor worker i'd ever had at the time.As with all ferrets i've kept they were well fed & handled,just one of them things that happens now & again

    Totally agree with you & Deker on this...nowt wrong with the trusty CZ.Sort the trigger,away you go.What your paying for with these top end rimmies is a nice looking piece of wood(god forbid putting it on a wall,post)& a adjustable trigger,oh & the name...I would like to take someone out with me just to see how my lowly CZ performs against the Premier League rimfire stars :hmm:

    My first real air rifle as a teenager .Mine was .22 with open sights & standard spring,took many ferals with it down the old dock mills & the odd rabbit .It's a decent gun,great trigger & the usual HW build quality with the weight to match :laugh: .If it's a reasonable price,take it you won't be dissapointed

    This is my second year of running a CZ Hmr & it ain't a black art owning one....it's a rimfire,simples.Can't understand why people are running a centrefire cleaning regime on one .Keep the barrel dirty on mine all the time & it shoots as good as i can use it.People get this little round & expect it to do wonders,flat trajectory,single hole groups.....My routine for using Hmr,bolt in,fill magazine,one in the breach,rangefind rabbit & shoot...end of day,mod off,wipe crown & gun over,put in cabinet till next outing

    Malts,think we've been on here about the same time & you,ve always came across as a decent,knowlegable member(IMO).I ain't blowing smoke up your arse but i'm sure most long standing sensible members would concour(hopefully).We need a ACTIVE Mod on here to get this section into order. Look at what's been going on...EU,wild polecats,EU wanted/for sale peddling posts & loads of pointless drivel .If the EU poley is the way ahead give it own sub section so us lads & lasses with the humble ferret don't have to read it.Perhaps another sub section for ferret health/welfare threads??

    Totally agree with you Ideation,someone needs to get a hold on this ferret forum.Too many decent folk have been & gone in past years.As someone has already posted a good hunting thread gets 1/2 "nice bag" comments however a complete load of shit will get page upon page of bickering,decent members getting pissed off with the constant Ef ngU,wild polecats,stoat,weasle,cross bollox. I stopped posting my days out a good while back,hey no big bags but days out all the same...which believe it or not is what the ferret forum is about .Topics on welfare also covered by our resident ferret gu

    The cruelty officer(wife) will have a couple of mooch's out before the winter weather sets in.She can set nets,handle the ferts soundly however she won't kneck the rabbits...however she'll quite happily send 17gr/40gr into a rabbit's napper with the rimmies . As a teenager she also competed in county championships for bow shooting & did well at it. She put's up with me getting in all hours,changing plans for weekends...paitence of saint :angel: however costs me a fortune in horse riding lessons

    Just read it meself on Sky website,so much for it being a personal talk with Cappello.Can't be easy for any young lad with that sort of money,away from home,the usual amount of cling on's & yes men.Perhaps he'll end up being the new Gazza for the next decade .Why should Cappello care anyway that useless morons doing away once we've qualified for Euro 2012 so he does'nt have to take the flack when we get humiliated by the Germans...AGAIN :icon_redface:

    As per the Varmint Al table it's a good guide...50yd zero for me, a touch of holdunder to around a 100yds.IMO it's not as flat trajectory as some say,a good round in favourable conditions,wind 5+ mph over 100yds & the windage can be a bit hit & miss. As Tegater's has posted on here.it's capable of some impressive ranges...246 yds in his case it's like any sport/hobby..you only get out of it what you put in.
