  2. Hi pal if you pull the bulb a bit more out then turn the lense more you will get a clear spot for the dog to follow instead of that ring of light regards lamperjohn.
  3. No Chris she's out of the 2009 litter when you used another wheaten greyhound over your wheaten bitch I think it was a Chris hickling bred dog, shes identical to your bitch but with more of a rough coat 22 to the shoulder she looks like a first x.

  5. my old bitch did it about 4 years ago running on the lamp she hit a concrete bunker hidden in the field. the vet put a sling on her back leg then taped it up for 2 weeks. when the bandage was taken of it was strictly walking on the lead for a month it tuck agood 2 month to fully heal luckily my dog was running well again after it good luck in the recovery lamperjohn

  7. yes ive used it the shampoo,and the concentrated stuff it makes 25litres of solution, ive dipped my ferrets in it,and sprayed my dogs with it , i also use barrier stuff is also very good aswell my animals very rarely have any external parasites <img class="bbc_emoticon" alt="" src="http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/victory.gif">when i seen what a frontline spot on did to my leather suite when i spilt a bit on it i wanted to use something less toxic on them atb lamperjohn.<br>

  10. i think as long as you dont run them stupid or give them long runs i dont see a problem giveing oldies a few runs ive got a bitch here 13 years old now still catches a few on the lamp, i could never retire her full stop i know it would break her heart:thumbs:atb lamperjohn

  12. mine get raw beef,tripe,chicken,tinned sardines twice a week, whole rabbits,hares,chickens thighs,wings,on sundays i boil 2lb mince an add it to all the left overs. would never feed my dogs dry food or tinned crap
  13. could,nt you put her in one of those pools for injured greyhounds/horses a few times a week, i would,nt crate her them legs could end up deformed like that due to lack of use atb lamperjohn
  14. I would agree with you Joe ,aggression towards other dogs is a pain in the arse. I have read that one of the most outstanding coursing lines,are noted for being "dodgy with other dogs", not a positive trait to breed into your line. I am interested to hear what others think of the comment by a poster ,regarding Wheaton crosses.I have no experience of them,are they known for aggression towards other dogs? Comments would be welcome. Think it stemps from them being bred for dog fighting many years ago, im sure 2 wheatens hold the record for it,

  18. you can give them a 3 day course of panacur10% liquid/ or 4.5g granules per 10kg body weight, or get some milbermax tablets from the vet it covers all worms, ive never used ivermec but a lot do, i think its toxic to dogs with collie blood in them.
  19. had one last year i sold it and regretted it ever since ive just bought the latest version with the checkerd stock its got a 3x9x40 hawk hd scope on its so acurate ive been dropping rabbits around 40yrds regular with mine,you wont get a better springer for build quality they are exellent guns
