    yep, a hare in the day is 100 times harder, than in the night.But some hares in the night which have had a light on them before,can on (big) fields can really push your average lamping dog. And if you are just after rabbits that night, 2-3 runs on hares ,will only give you smaller rabbit bag Bird, Chris has seen your dog, it seems by your accounts your dog is a big heavy type of dog , i suppose it isn,t suited to catching hares being the size he is, a good lamping dog should be able to run hares and still run and catch rabbits, if it has plenty of stamina. regards lamperjohn.

    hi mike i bought them le chameau wellys of him he sent them next day delivery and he even paid full postage what would of cost him atleast £10 considering he only wanted £25 for them the wellys are in brand new condition and retail at £99 regards lamperjohn

    Sounds like the dog has thrown more to the longdog blood than the herding side of things, the way you describes it sounds more like a first cross. so iam not surprised it can catch a few.     totaly agree ive been there and got the t shirt from owning speed merchants in the past, my view as changed now ive gone lurcher to lurcher bred for a decent study animal that will not break easily on rough ground, when youve seen a couple of speed merhants come unstuck it puts you off having so much speed in a dog atb john

    Soz like pal, this is the firstlurcher ive had im just getting into it. i have every intention of becoming a proppa dog man, fair enuf he might be a bit of a dodgy c**t but it nt the dogs fault. i must have hit lucky cz av gt the perfect dog 4 me...wudnt change her for the world so am pleased ah gt her off him. like ah say his dogs mite nt be tret perfect but arv got a good dog out of it....is it nt more of a reason to buy a dog off sum 1 like that for the dogs sake?? why when they will have got more in soon after, its how they make there living, buying of them your adding to the problem,
