I agree about Pennys book, a must for any owner of running dogs, although i think Jackie Drakeford books are poor, and the comment about trying to buy Darcys books secondhand, mate the very nature of the limited edition means prices only go up
Yes very much so, to me a runt is an sickly puppy, others seem to think every litter must have a runt and just because a pup may be smaller than some of its littermates it must be a runt............
is this for all round work? or for a certain job?
From a historical viewpoint in this country bull blood was added for tenacity, pain threshold and power. Those that got dogs from this breeding didnt buy this type for its all round ability, so why dilute the very essence of what made this cross unique?
an that from a dog trainer
Its sarcasm oldtimer.............Although i do find your replies funny and helpfull at times.........................see sarcasm
Would be geared toward the type of quarry and style of hunting you do/or did for many of us gnasher, on a personal note the half cross to me is the ultimate mix, a reserve 3/4 is too much bull and a 3/4 greyhound is not enough imo..................
Is there anything you regular watch on television, any shows you really enjoy?
There are a few shows i really enjoy and set on the sky planner, The Walking dead is a current favourite, i also watch the Ultimate Fighter and have just finished with the latest series of Sons of Anarchy and Supernatural...........
with an older dog an electric collar does the trick!
Why does everybody think the electric collar is the magic training aid? Its usually the lazy mans excuse to avoid putting time in, and before anyone says anything i have had electric collars in my training bag since the 90's, they are invalule in certain situations but require experience and timing, if you dont have both you will make the problem ten times worse............
