  2. You do something stupid like threaten them with a knife or gun then they have won, and you will be the one who gets in serious bother, not them. Phone the police and report what happend, giving a full description of them and their car.......

  9. Stu I too hold the same views. As do a great many others. Hence the wide spread and growing antipathy as I mentioned earlier. Although for me coursing deer is totally unjustifiable be it it daylight or under cover of darkness, whether the perpetrator /s have permission to be on the land or otherwise. Although a point to be remembered is that by granting permission renders the landowner liable for prosecution under the Hunting Act 2004. I like you, if anyone can point me in the direction of an alternative POV that isn't based upon inaccuracies, has some basis other than its traditional

  14. I think you'll find that it was Lord Burns and his fellow inquiry committee members. Appointed by Jack Straw in Dec1999. If you care to do some research the inquiries remitted only covered Hunting with Dogs and fishing was not part of that remit. As to what the future hold I have no idea I am neither physic nor a practitioner of Tarot cards. I suggest that if you can predict the future we share the next lottery roll over numbers. Ahh, when you dont like a debate, use sarcasm As you know the committee was based with a biased viewpoint, i dont need to do research, already done it. It wa

  16. Nice pup matey, but for the love of god please do a search as there have been hundreds of these threads...........
  17. I agree, the forum is about debate, i would rather have a debate than a "show us your blah x thread", as long as members dont join JUST to try and be argumentative, which happens a lot in all forums on the board
  18. Wounds to flanks, haunches, necks, and faces. Then i believe you and would say there are bad apples in all fieldsports, but I have also seen horrible wounds on deer that have not been followed up Everyone has to decide upon their moral and ethical POV. Hopefully based upon ultimate respect for their quarry. If the scales fall as they have on the side of one particular method of control as they have in regards to deer. Due to clear and concise understanding of the facts rather than the fantasy. Of curse those that support that view and understand the reasons why that view prevailed
  19. Simon You've been a bit quick on the draw regarding answering questions. But I'll try to catch up. I agree in modern western society we choose to hunt. Yes some would argue that all hunting has an element of cruelty. "if you choose to shoot its a guarenteed fact that your first shot will not kill instantly, its impossible." define instantly and impossible. If by instant you mean the turning off of all brain function then I agree. If by instant you mean the removal of all blood supply to the brain the by inhibiting cognitive function the I disagree that is not impossible. To claim a d
  20. Glover has just done a book of working beddies if your interested.......
  21. Have you winessed it, or are you just going by propaganda distributed by the organisations you have mentioned? Trying to act pompous and belittle members only makes you appear foolish and suspect. So as i have mentioned, have you seen it in person? And do you think only riflemen have the rights to take deer? I will say that in this country its now a historical thing for me, BUT i do like your united attitude, and a hint of love for the LACS......... Simon I have personal witnessed the suffering caused to deer by coursing and I am not alone in that regard. No I'm not going by the
