  1. 99% sure it's called The Outsiders by S.E Hinton. There was also a film about the book starring Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze etc. The main gangs were the greasers and the soc's.

  5. Crikey, 6ft and 9st As a teenager I was 6ft 11st and used to lift weights, cycle, swim and run. My advice is get married and have kids, i'm now 32, still 6ft but fat

  9. Well, I bought Sean Frains new book on the Middleton strain of terrier...........and although I only started reading it tonight I think its head and shoulders above his other books. And only a couple of drawings
  10. Stabs is right, get the dog to associate the sound of the gun with a positive experience. You could try feeding the dog and shooting at a distance and gradually closing the distance. I'd work on your retreive before giving him the chance to cock it up with a pheasant

I remember thundercats, thundercats hoooooooo I watch cartoons today with my girl and love Spongebob, I have also converted her to the Simpsons but my wife doesn't think its appropriate for a 3 year old :whistle: Fellman, we used to do knock a door run and cat crawling, anyone remember that? You used to try and climb through/over people gardens to the end of the street.

  18. I'll have a think , there are a few nice ones around Horncastle, Woodhall Spa etc. There used to be a good country pub on the main road just outside Woodhall on the way to Conningsby. Have you ever been to the cinema in Woodhall Spa woods, apparently the organist rises from the stage during the interval to play music

  25. Fair enough Steve, as you say each to his own I enjoyed them and still learnt things. I think that in the past we have had a lot of books telling you how to enter your dog to rat, rabbit .........and after a while you fancy something different
