    Ours are being cut at the moment, although I've had a phone call from a farmer for whom we shoot pigeons, he wants the foxes removed as they are rolling the corn and they are putting pheasants down

    I have three dogs, all are chipped and one is tattooed aswell. I think both are good although my terriers first chip migrated and couldn't be found.

    Sorry Geordie, you are misguided on the merits of bull crosses. The Aberdeen Angus is renowned for it's poor feet, lack of stamina and distinct lack of bottle with large game. When we have proven Spanish fighting bulls why reinvent the wheel. P.S. I am also adding Lancashire heeler to the mix to produce a no-nonsence earth dog that will quickly surpass all recognised working terrier breeds...watch this space..... Anyone interested in a pup/calf can send me a large deposit via pm :whistle:

    I'm afraid that ginger coat can be a give away when poaching. Again the coat of a Spanish fighting bull is black...perfect for lamping when on hot ground....................

    Both Herefords and Charolois throw extreamly heavy first crosses. I prefer a blend of Spanish fighting bull, this has both speed and gameness....................

    Don't think it can be too much fun in the heat :wacko: Shes staying with family in London and having a private birth, been there over three weeks but didn't want to go into hospital or be induced after last times bad experience Just waiting for the phone to ring............................

    Good for you, I think any training helps build a bond All I would say is that I have trained lots of breeds professionlly and although my experience with ridgebacks is limited to half a dozen they were all slightly stubborn (using a variety of methods) and a couple were temperamentaly unsound and couldn't be trusted around people. I wouldn't say that the breed is near the inteligence level of the usual suspects, collies, labs, shepherds etc. If you are interested in canine inteligence testing there is a well written book by Cohen Now as I have posted in the past I have a terrier but
