  12. Out clay shooting today when my right barrel stops firing, anyway it looks like the firing pin has disapeared Anyway we carried on with the other barrel shooting singles. My friend was in the cage when the gun went off kicking up the earth 2 feet in front of him I asumed he had pulled the trigger but he swears that his fingers were not in the guard and that releasing the safety caused the gun to discharge Has anyone heard of this before as to be honest this sh*t us both up. This was his first outing and he was telling me how much he enjoyed it and would like another go but after this hap

  14. I trusted my old dogs 100% with my ferrets and they used to enjoy chasing each other around the garden When my current terrier was 8 weeks I introduced her to a couple of jills and one latched onto her nose, had hell of a job getting her off and from that day my dog will kill them if she gets the chance

    Dogs

Thanks for the reply and I agree that I must be sending signals subconciously Good advice One amusing thing is that I am a trainer at our local club :11: and have qualified dogs in sports and been involved in training national winners in dog sports and security trials, funny but sometimes in needs someone from outside to highlight the simple things Simon

    Dogs

Just wondering, would you keep a dog that you didn't bond with or especially like if was a good worker? Only asking because I have three dogs, two I have bonded with and a two yearold dog that I have never felt close too. He has a couple of strange habits that drive me nuts, the main issue is that the dog pees when being fussed, having a lead put on for walks etc. :realmad: This is not amusing unless you would like a fragrant carpet, shoes, car, the list goes on. This is strange as the dog is not nervous and very outgoing and confident with other people and mainly seems to demonstrate the pee
