Same here, always use the same name..........maybe some people like the chance to be someone else, obviously i'm perfect and happy with who I am
  2. I always find that housing your terrier with a rather tasty kennel mate is a good cure against theft  That and other "security" methods...............
  3. Rocking horse poo..........................the only vids i've got with digging are the warreners and there are a few reviews on here..........
  4. My ferrets, and I only had 1 pair of jills at a time were occasionally bitten but never jacked, maybe I was lucky
  5. Used to use ferrets with my old terrier and I prefer it to using a smoker, much quieter and more relaxed. However my current dog was attacked by a jill at 8 weeks and has never forgoten, plus the people I rat with don't break there dogs to ferrets and always use a smoker
  6. Gimme, gimme, gimme wasn't from the 70's.............
  7. A PM is a private message...Look in the top right of your screen, should say new messages?????
  8. She looks like one of the many women who stalk me.............
  9. Can only agree, i have an aeight stone doberman as well as terriers, they have to know they are lowest in pack. no tolerance of anything, i think kids also have to be trained to act right around dogs too though. A simple one i use is I never hit a dog, ill shake it as a correction so there is no confusion when the kids try to pet it. I agree about a dog knowing its place, don't agree that a dog being physically punished associates it with rough play from kids........
  10. Fellman, yet again taking punishment Think you should post his photos as a caption competition. this one should read "what am i supposed to do with this"
  11. Nice to see she is enjoying retirement Dillion. 274 digs seems pretty impressive to me Glad tio see she still has a few teeth
  12. I moved my dogs from the house into kennels a few years before we had kids to ensure no confusion. I didn't want to bring a baby home and then the dogs find themselves outside. Finding the dog a suitable home could be an option but the dog is a year old, is it the breeders responsibility to rehome the dog? Keeping the dog away from the kids for the next 10/15 yeras will be impossible, at somepoint they will meet and would you risk it? I wouldnt If you do rehome it you should be upfront about the dogs problem.
  13. Do you mean 6 dogs in the kennel run together  I paid £700 for a kennel and run to house 2 dogs 5 years ago and have been looking at another one, prices have been at least £650. £500-600 to house 4-5..................good luck
  14. Used to use spent cartridges as scent articles when training dogs to track..........your idea look smore fun tho'
  15. Right boys, the weathers hot and I have been spending too much time on this computer. How do you think the quality of terriers and terriermen of today compare with those of the past? Thinking of great names from the past Buck, Breay, Gripton etc and those that worked/bred great dogs in the past/present, Nuttall, Chapman, Mousley, Gould, Park, Middleton etc Has the quality of dogs changed for better or worse over the years due to decreasing legal quarry, showing and legislation and has the terrierman of today changed?
  16. I've read it, along with 3 others of his...sucker for punishment. The good news is it's his best book The bad news is it's his best book
  17. I would NEVER leave any of my dogs alone with my kids and I trust them as much as you can ever trust an animal. Kids move, sound and act different to adults and this can cause problems with pack structure. I seen a few bad bites, had a couple myself and could never forgive myself if my dog bit one of my kids. Never worth the risk.............

Excellent post My wife is one in a million, shes not interested in dogs, shooting etc but lets me get on with it as long as I don't take the p*ss. She has even come out minkhunitng, rabbiting and foxhunting to form her own opinion as when we met (12 years ago) she was slightly anti hunting but has always made her mind up after she has tried something Don't know why some people stay married when everyone involved in so unhappy We have been together 12 years, married 6 and have 2 lovely kids.............
  20. I think everyone assumes that big cats are like the Loch ness monster and Bigfoot, myths rather than a real possibility....I think one of the problems is that many people involved in looking for these cats are socially.....how can I put this ....weird. I have a couple of mates who have told me stories. One told me about an armed "stalk" of some stables in Lincolnshire, a dozen coppers etc saw the black cat escape and run off and another told me of a road casualty in the same county. Of the dozens and dozens of photos and footage recorded there are a couple of very real cases. The Cannich p

    NEW COP IN TOWN

Most GSd's in this country are weak, lack bottle and are physically floored. The best dogs come from Belgium, Czech republic and Holland. Quite a few dog sections have been buying in European breeding stock for a few years.
  22. Quality piece of work, whenever I try and build anything it looks utter crap
  23. Saw a puma in Lincolnshire in the late 90's. Also did work for the BBCS and got to see lots of footage shot in this country, some rubbish but 1 or 2 genuine stuff
  24. Well after waiting..and waiting...and waiting my wife finally gave birth to my second daughter, 9lb 1oz on Friday so i'm happy as a pig.........
