  5. :11: Only joking I've just got a Dave Wallace dvd showing him with his dogs in NZ, really enjoyed it I believe his dogs are bull/greyhound? Those pigs look like a tough customer for any dog

  8. monitor lizards i like and am about to buy a Bosc but snakes I like in a vivarium I've seen adders in Scotland and walking in Australia I always had one eye open on the leave litter and overhanging trees :11: Walking in the rainforest with my wife and daughter we were warned by a german couple (the only people we saw in several hours) to be carefull off a python that had just crossed the track ahead, my bottom started twithing and my eyes worked overtime but the only wild snake I saw in Oz was a roadkill Red bellied black snake. Where is your holiday home Mackem? I have a touring caravan :1

I do like owls I regularly see barn and tawny owls near us, I also occasionally catch a glimpse of the little owls we have in a small copse at work Coming back from shooting a few weeks ago driving along a quiet country lane a tawny owl flew over the hedge and got stuck in the front grill of the van luckily enough he was ok

  12. Depends what sort of terrier, there are loads of Bedlington and bull crosses out there working
  13. Is the ratcatchers the geordie film? I've got that somewhere, some good footyage including Patterdales and a Bedlington. Although it has one of the worst voice overs, the bloke sounds like hes on anti-depresents

Its not them just flocking together, its the most amazing sight like something from a foreign land, they swarm and dive in perfect harmony, hundreds of them tightly packed together...absolutley breathtaking. MOLL. When in Australia last year I parked the camper near a park one evening to have a strech and heard the most amazing noise, looking up in the trees above was a group of several hundred fruit bats Would have loved to have seen them fly off together

    Automatic means poorer fuel comsumption but with a 4x4 I don't know the differences off road as i've only driven manual 4x4's
  16. Just wondering what are peoples favourite animal here in Britain? Not neccesarily in regards of pursuit or food I always love watching deer but have yet to see a Chinese Water Deer in the wild. I also enjoy seeing birds such as owls, seabirds and even the common pheasant And I stilll find the fox an amazing creature Simon

  20. I'm with you Locke No comparison, love the photos and writing style in Darcys books, look forward to some more. Plummers books were a good read if you take them with a pinch (ton) of salt.....................and take them as a story

  23. The main purpose of the clubs is to offer a rescue service to its members, promote responsible terrierwork, hold shows and allow likeminded people the chance to meet. My club is Rother Valley, they offer a rescue service, hold an excellent show and recently held a talk by Harry Millward and Geoffrey Burnhill, at 5 quid a year i'm sure you will agree that its excellent value Simon
