Forgot about the new act Gary  The old system meant that town and parish councils request a dogs on lead byelaw and put this forward to the district council. 7. Interesting thread I understand the need for control of certain species in certain areas but was slightly p*ssed off this week when I found a barn owl that had been killed with a shotgun and left on display on a fence in a popular public walking spot......why?
  8. Saw a lot of signs in Western Australia, would hate for a dog to come across it. Mitch are the baits supposed to be for foxes? What other species do they have an impact on?

  15. I've got the 2.0 laguna estate, brilliant car, had mine 4 years and done over 130,000 miles, reliable and comfortable with lots of extras. The 2.0 petrol does about 36 mpg, not bad for a petrol engine
  16. Ive got a 3 1/2 year old ebt x whippet bitch, firstly the good points very strong prey drive, excellent nose, bags of stamina, easy to train ie sit stay etc, no obsticle gets in her way when shes on something, had rabbits on the lamp/rats also and a half grown fox,and a sh*t hot guard dog.good with kids, very affecionate. 20. Very interesting link I'd like to see some of the native species return, beaver, lynx, wolves and boar, although they are doing ok in certain areas. We have an introduced crayfish species in a local river and they have wiped out the native species.
