  1. So when you're responsible for a pair of kiddies going out searching frantically for their mog, or a little old dear waiting by the catflap every night waiting for their mogwee to come back, I hope it sits well with the fact that youd set out to shoot ferals. And feral cats CAN be tamed, if young enough.
  2. Good god, we had one of these Persian's years ago-was nowt like this mog though!
  3. I can safely say i find it really gutwrenching tbf that people could so gladly speak of doing away with someones pets. Irrespective of whether their roaming or not. Not condoning moggy owners not taking more responsibility, but still. Can't imagine this thread getting the same responses if it was to do with something similar in reverse happening to one of our dogs.. Citrus or curryplants are meant to deter cats, sonic devices also work..my weapon of choice? Supersoaker. Or a big neutered moggy tends to keep the ohers away.
  4. Sorry, i was juggling trying to cook dinner whilst posting. Located in the west midlands, preferably looking for a pup locally. Would travel a bit though.
  5. As the title states. Looking for a deerhound x or beardie collie x lurcher, roughcoated, pup. Don't mind what else it be crossed with. Willing to pay te right price for the right pup. Pm me with anything cheers
  6. The battiest springer this side of the world, a total nutbag..but with a good nose, he's only a youngun..was doing great until the started banging hell bent for leather all the time when he used to bark, made him fall apart at the sound of a bang..so the gun nearly destroyed him. He's happy in doing light bushing n tracking work though. The dosiest terrier i've ever seen..soft as pudding, you never notice she's in the house..and you literally have to force her to do anything, yet show her a shed full of rats n it's like shes got a rocket up the posterior. She isn't a great
  7. Howdy Folks, I'm looking for a Liver & White English Springer, dog or bitch isn't important, to add to the motley crew. I want a nice sized, healthy, pup..but one that looks like a Springer and not a bloody border collie come whippet! One that can do what they were bred for..but also look like a springer spaniel too. Liver & white preferably, and in the West Midlands area if possible. Already got a big liver & white dog, a mix of about 60% field type & 40% show type springer..looks like a springer, is a nice size n not the size of a cocker, and can still do what he was bred
  8. Iron Man-Black Sabbath, is there anything finer?
  9. I've got this cam, about as close to a dslr as a compact camera will come i think, some pictures: It really is a good camera I think.
  10. He's about nine months now, good dog really..bit of a 'free spirit' in general, but he's nice natured and doing well in training..he's been out with the gun a few (only a few!) occasions more to get him used to sound then anything..he is doing fair. Don't want to do any trialing etc with him..just for my own requirements Smashing chap..even if he does pull like a bloody train when he's on the lead. (not working pictures i know..just taken from a walk t'other day)
  11. I hope so-apparently i was told by someone that it is going to be an overall ban on docking for any purpose-whether its correct info or not.
  12. Sorry if this has already been posted-it's official, the docking ban was given Royal Ascent on Nov 8th 2006, and becomes law on April 6th 2007. Tis a sad state of affairs-but surely there will be loopholes? (so to speak) Surely there still will be docked pups available-in some way?
  13. As title says-what age would you introduce an ESS to the gun at? He has been doing the right amount of training for his age-but just want to know about what age to let him hear the gun etc.
  14. Great pics Molly-shows you must have a bloody talent to get a cat that well trained! I am a fan of the mogs myself-so can't really comment.
  15. Good looking dogs-like that russel! and the springer-question, d'ya clip his coat up?
