Trouble is the farmer who sees your dog alone near a field lambs won't care and will more than likely give it a couple of barrels of number 4 shot, for the sake of yourself and the dog keep it on a lead in the countryside until your recall is 100%, "some recall" to me is no recall. Good luck

If your recalls crap then don't let the dog off the lead. I don't mean that to sound sarcastic, but by letting the dog off the lead and then calling it (the dog pays no attention) you are reinforcing the dogs behaviour of ignoring your voice. I don't like shouting and usually have apup on its lead and call it name, the pup usually responds and I give it lots of fuss, if the dog is ignoring me and intent on sniffing the ground or such I will give a LIGHT check into my legs and again give it praise, soon the dog learns to listen for you and you don't have to shout. Used to hunt around Ilkeston area as a teen. Huge numbers of hares around Kedelston, deer around Spondon etc etc. Plenty of game around Buxton, Bakewell, you just have to get out and look although obviouisly rabbits would be the only legal option now so get out and start door knocking

Excellent program, what surprised me was they bombed and shot at the taliban but don't go in and do body counts? Also how the hell do they tell the difference between the taliban and normal Afghanstan civves going about their lives??? Looked like an impossible war to win which could go on and on................

Foxes have been known to take hedgehogs, they annoy them until they curl up into a defensive ball and then push them into water, when the hedgehog opens up the fox grips its stomach and eats it. Never seen it myself but Ive heard of it before. TT. I think thats an old wives tale, how many foxes are going to wander round pushing a hedgehog until they come to a watercourse? I'm sure persistance and a few good scratches and a hedgehog would open up, my terriers always just bit through the spikes when the unfortunate creatures come into the runs..........Funny though as I don't see

Look like fox tracks, notjing like a cat. I've spoken to ditch before and i'm with him, too much rubbish is posted as "big cat" sightings but I saw one once and know what I saw...................
