  3. I've done mine this week with a stripping knife.
  4. Spoken to Deben and i'm sending it back. I point the receiver away from the collar and get an absurd false reading, the search mode won't pick up the collar unless its a few feet away People at Deben said the rod insode the receiver may have come loose.............
  5. Skycat could be right, if you are adding a complete meal then they contain grain, this isn't normal for the dogs digestive system and many dogs have an allergy to it. Can often lead to problems like colitis which could be possible Let us know what the vet says
  6. I've found that having a dog thats releases botty coughs is good for covering up your own noxious gasses, unfortunately mine are in kennels......................
  7. Find snakes facinating and have looked after several, love the ozzie elapids but to be honest they scare me a little Biggest I've been aroung (not looked after)was a 14ft reticulated python that was a little grumpy, I made sure I was at the other end of the room

  10. Bosc, I love lizards, especially the anguimorph family. I knew of several collections of wolf hybrids, lynx, tigers, camels etc etc

Used to work for the council deot that distributed and gave conditions for keeping DWA animals and some of the animals hidden away in towns and villages would have had the neighbours nervous wrecks. The mexican I had was aggressive and used to shed, I stopped keeping them after one kept shedding its hairs into my eyes, it became quite irritating and I didn't want eye damage. Still keep some monitors, beardies etc.
  12. I have had problems with the mark 3 and the batteries have been changed three times to eliminate that as a problem. The receiver is picking up the signal from the collar at close range on locate but I am also getting a signal when the reciever is being pointed elsewhere, obviously this is not ideal and I won't use it and risk losing a ferret. Has anyone come across a similar problem? Cheers Simon
  13. I have kept Chile Rose and Mexican red knee. Also inverts such as Indian and Macklays Spectre stick insects.................

  20. The areas around Friskney, Stickney and Boston are flat as a pancake but further north around Market Rasen is the wolds, lots of hills and beutiful. I a little further north and again the land is flat but dotted with large forests. A healthy population of game but as I previously mentioned lots of shoots so permission can be tricky. Still some cheap areas to live in and wages aren't the same as the home counties but same as many other northern and midland counties. I live in a very rural area and the land around me is teeming with hare, gamebirds, songbirds, owls and we have a small but
