Unfortunately I'm far too wimpy and wouldn't try and tame him incase I was bitten He may settle down after a couple of days, a couple a years ago I was handed a malnourished ferret covered in ticks that had been released/escaped. He was syringe fed and tame as a kitten....until he regained his condition then his true nature emerged, one minute he was a kitten the next with no warning he sank his fangs in (luckily enough for me always into someone else). I rehomed him to a guy who had ferrets that also bit but he didn't care(he was a big tough boy)

Heres mine, was made to measure in my old Renault but slots into the pick up with lots of spare room. I had to have the plates welded at the back of the black dogs side as he crunched up the weldmesh when he saw other dogs being trained for manwork

Its not a remote training collar you need then, its a bark inhibitor. Look at the dogtra models, you can pick one up for £50 or so. Don't get a citronella collar, people assume they are more humane thant the electric, whats more humane, a quick correction or citronella sprayed up your primary sense?

I use a Landywoods and find them excellent. With regards to horse meat a guy I knew fed it to his dogs and is always produced runny stools.....

Before I started mine on raw I had them on Beta puppy but its no match for a raw diet.

If the ferrets are from workers then there is a good chance they will work, if its real deal polecat then getting them tame could be tricky.

Landywoods sell chicken carcases, I buy hundreds, I think they are 38p each.

How do you prove a Europen polecat isn't a feral ferret? I don't understand why anyone would want to change from anything other than a ferret which does the job just fine

This is Prancer, she regularly took 3 out of 3 in a morning on the fens, could lamp all night and work with terriers the follwing day and is faster than any dog living, FACT..............

So whilst your dog is being pasted you nip inside to pop the kettle on? Or failing that you stick your fingers up its nostrils? Don't know how many dogs you have seperated but you are obviously not fond of keeping your fingers.

Try explaining to the owner, then police about shooting a dog in your garden, my guess is the firearms officer would take away your dads licence for discharging the weapon in an built up area (gun safety????). There are better ways to seperate two dogs than a 12 bore, there is also the possibilty of injuring your own dog. Shut your gate and have a word with the owner of the husky????

Nice one stubby, I got half a dozen from the battery welfare trust last year, they came without feathers and some had tumours and were PTS, the others are now the picture of health and very tame with a good laying ratio........
