I have never sold a dog, got offered £3k for one of my Shepherds years ago and laughed, as no way i was i parting with that dog, and to be honest i didn't need the cash, but times change, as do situations, but although its easy to say my dogs going nowhere the truth is if i was offered 10k for a dog how could i turn it down with a mortgage to pay and children to look after.........

Weird but it happens, we went on some permission last week that is always good for a few bunnies, but none about, at all and nobody had been on before us.......

I doubt its a pure wolf, i have no idea why anyone who breed or want such a cross other than as an ego extension, Akitas are aloof, difficult to control and most i have seen or work with have suspect temperaments....

Know Anderby creek very well stig and dont forget the nudist beach at theddlethorpe.. Sounds a ball ache dotty, apart from bulbs, never needed any replacement parts, although i did leave a blitz on in the truck which burnt my seat cover, but only slightly damaged the casing......

Hi mate, LDR successfully ran a lamping competition, BUT the admin and mods are currenly looking at a set of rules before people can set up a comp via the forum, in this day and age we have a responsibility to protect members..........If you decide to organise it, set up some rules and run it by admin please. Hope you have luck, i'll chuck my name in the hat if you get it going....

Artic and dotty are right, get Penny Taylors book for sound advice, there is also a dvd by Dave Sleight called Purdys progress. very informative. Look at the sensible posts on the forum, go to shows and talk to folk and im sure you will find someone before next season who will take you out, just remember mate, do your research and slowly slowly catchy monkey...

Bull crosses were almost exclusivley bred for toothed quarry and rarley saw rabbits, on my permission rabbits aren't easy or plentiful, BUT I have owned and seen some bull crosses that are very good at taking bunnies on the lamp, although as previously mentioned, almost all the ones i have seen or owned were a trifle hard mouthed. Bull crosses aren't and shouldn't be a first choice if you want a really good rabbiting dog imo, there are other crosses more suitable.......
