  1. In the past i have driven stubbles and grass paddocks on permission and i really enjoy it, BUT i dont drive off permission as for me the joys of lamping would be reduced by the stress of looking over your shoulder, or up at the skies!!!!!!!

  3. Its a forum whin, the whole point is too comment
  4. It all depends, one thing i wont disagree with is that driving puts more quarry in front of your dog, thats a given. BUT walking the land doesnt destroy drilled fields, leave tracks all across the fields telling everybody someone has been on and make the area hot.....
  5. I got the promise of 5,000 acres of permission near Grantham last year, the day before i was due to go and have a look i spoke to my friend who said all the permission had been revoked as straw finally broke the camels back, they were fed up of lads driving the fields, leaving carcasses, broken gates, stealing cherry from the tanks and finally the theft of three tractors...........Some lads who drive the land have respect, others are just theives with dogs.......
  6. Well, i can only speak about my county Lincolnshire, in recent years people driving the land have brought it all on top and this has increased media and police attention and is fecking the game, just mho............

My take and experience is this, in 1986 i got an after school job walking a kennel of imported bulls, i was shown this strange piece of equipment and shown how to use it, not for any dark or seedy purposes but in case an accident happened on exercise. When i first got a very well bred and drivey bull cross i realised the breakstick was a usefull piece of equipment, i am not and wasn't an inexperienced dog trainer and im used to drivey dogs BUT when dealing with fox and deer (all way before the ban) i found a breakstick mu

  24. Hey, im glad you started this thread, i now have an extra 3 bedrooms and an upgraded 4x4 P.S. I think the reason a little ribbing occured, and thats all it was, not quite the drama you imply is because joining a site, adding nothing in the way of contribution then asking for chicken wire on one thread, and pullets on another seems a little bit like taking the piss
  25. A pleasant series of times gone by, ive often said i was born 30 years too late.........a few others have said the same thing
