    Yerr, had that years ago when one of my pals decided it would be interesting to see if a .22 would penetrate a lorry tyre at about 100 yards. The little bullet seemed to come back as fast as it went. That, I will never forget.....?

    Had a walk around today, took my little cz511. Saw plenty of pheasants at the feeders, some of the feeders have gone down a lot this last weekend. Topped up with wheat, the snow and cold snap is drawing the birds in, also crows were on them as well as rats and squirrels. Can’t remember the last time I saw snow in November. I really need to get on with setting a couple of squirrel feeders up, the little blighters are everywhere......
