  1. Its got my current car outside my house and i've only had it 18months so its not that outdated.
  2. The only place i've seen a Hen Harrier is at an RSPB reserve near where I live that my daughter enjoys going too. I don't know an awful lot about birds of prey but I do try and find out what they are when I see them. I agree, nothing much for any bird in Portsmouth, except maybe the pigeons although as you say to the east there is plenty. Witterings seem to be a good spot for them in general. A few years ago Buzzards were a rare sight in these parts but they seem to be two a penny now, I couldn't believe the amount in the west country. My mother and her partner are converting a barn d
  3. Ditch there are a few Hen Harriers around Sussex and Hampshire apparently. I didn't expect to see a Perigrine in my road with its lunch but then found out there is a nesting pair in Chichester Cathedral and was told where I am is no distance for them.
  4. Just over 5 years ago England were top of the game. Not many nations touched them and they went into the World Cup unbeatable. After the 2003 final they almost became complacent and seemed to be resting on their laurels. Jonny was plagued with injury and Charlie Hodgson was no comparison at fly half, I hate to sound so unpatriotic but it was a good day at Twickenham when I saw Hodgson kiss his England career goodbye against SA. I've never rated him and think Ollie Barkley should've been picked over him any day of the week. England's highest point since the 2003 final was the 2007 final, th

I have seen one and there is no mistaking what it was as it was merely feet away from me in broad daylight. At the time there were regular sightings but this was 10 years ago, i've not heard of any recent sightings.
  6. I've only just come back in and i'm pleased for the win but the second half was pretty dismal. England really need to pull thier socks up if they are going to beat Ireland or France! Far too much pressure is put on Jonny Wilkinson, i've said it for years but he is still one of the greatest players of his generation! No one can deny that!
  7. Not much help to you but Lingfield Lodge in Edenbridge are brilliant greyhound vets for anyone in the Surrey/Sussex/Kent area.
  8. People like this are the reason that so many rescues are anti working homes! Gives the genuine workers who do look after thier dogs a bloody bad name. What happened to a dog being for life?!

Alan Carr does a funny gag about the beast of exmoor!
  10. Maybe the fact that you were prepared to give up on a dog with a problem that can easily be remedied. What do you do if a dog of your has an accident and needs stitching up? All costs...
  11. I only saw bits of the match as I took my daughter swimming but yes, well done Wales. Looking forward to tomorrow.
  12. Its gross! If I had the money, or inclination to drive something like that it'd be an Aston I reckon.
  13. I take my hat off to anyone in the armed forces! I don't think its a job I could do personally.
  14. I have two rescue Greys, one is an ex track bitch and the other never raced as he had no interest in it. The ex track dog can't be trusted off lead in areas where there may be cats or small dogs but this isn't the case with all ex track dogs. Most will be assessed in foster and any rescue worth thier salt will match the dog to you, not just give you one because you like the colour or whatever reason. Some rescues will not rehome to people with kids under a certain age but most will assess the dog with children and decide if it is suitable for certain age groups as obviouslt different
  15. I love the way that everyone slags off thier own team when they don't win. Granted I didn't see all of the Scotland match and in a comment on the other rugby thread I said they didn't really look to be in the game but jesus guys these players/teams are far from shit! Both England and Scotland made some errors and were beaten i'll take that but for all the people that wrote off England can we just remember that they played their second consecutive world cup final last year and are still among the best teams in the world. Scotland shouldn't be written of just yet either, they are far from a
  16. I have a Subaru Legacy estate and I love it! I picked it up for £2000 on a 99 plate just over a year ago. The only thing is they are not cheap on parts and a bit juicy. However i've never had a moments trouble from it which is more than I can say for any of my other cars. My uncle has a Toyota estate, a Corolla I think and they have had nothing but good things to say about it. I had an Avensis estate as a courtesy car when some silly bitch drove into my (parked) car and I loved that, brilliant on the diesal too but too new to be cheap. I would never have another Ford but thats jus
  17. So far Scotland don't really seem to be getting into their match. However France are making some very silly mistakes so i'm hoping Scotland can turn it around. Poor Dan Parks face said it all just a moment ago when he kicked a penalty. Nice to see France miss two pretty easy penalties!

    Bad News

Hope he recovers soon. My thoughts to him and his family.
  19. My daughter is 6 and I was talking about her last night with one of the rugby lads. I have decided that the lads will either keep an eye on her and stop her from doing anything she shouldn't or try and pull her. I know which one my money is on so she'll be in an iron chastity belt until she's 30!
  20. I'd like to see Scotland take it but i'm just not sure they will unfortunately.
  21. Fantastic! My daughter told me on my last birthday (26) that i'm nearly 30 but to be fair, I don't really care.
  22. I love that we can have proper banter between nations with rugby and it doesn't turn into an all out brawl! I had a fab day yesterday, great seats in the south stand and on the day the best team won. England looked to be on fantastic form but i'm not sure if they were all tranked at half time, they just didn't seem to be functioning. Wales played a good second half and capitalised on Englands weaknesses. We had great fun all getting drunk afterwards although I do regret not getting the number of the welshman I was chatting to in The Falcon in Clapham. Well done Wales, looking for
