I read his autobiography and I agree that he's probably a shit to work for at times but he looks after his staff and the reason he's like he is is that he's working in a kitchen, there can't be room for error etc and he gets results. I know in a programme like kitchen nightmares you'll only see a portion of what goes on but he turns places around with his methods.

I would think if they are used for flyball then they would be pretty robust. Might be an idea to loosely tape them up though in case they get caught on any undergrowth. The rugby team use a bit of electrical tape (I think) for holding boot laces, holding socks up etc, something like that should do the trick.
