    Remember girls

I was about to say, aww how sweet and go on about how how romance isn't dead. Then I scrolled down! You know how to treat a lady Maltenby!
  2. Oooh, thanks for the reminder. I loooooove Gordon Ramsay!

    Remember girls

Hmm, can't remember the last time I was taken out for valentines. Sad eh?!
  4. I'm with you there! I'm glad I found out what an arse he was before we got married though and that I had the strength and support to leave. Its not easy moving back in with parents after not living with them for a while and with a small child. As you said though, it toughens us up and I won't be making the same mistakes in a hurry!
  5. Time to put your money where your mouth is my dear!
  6. Least they don't answer back!
  7. Typical biggotted comments from people who don't know or understand whats going on or why! As if 'lamping is sick' is an argument...
  8. You could try googling flyball sites and see if they give any info but some sort of boot similar to brushing boots on horses would be an idea, give support but they don't inhibit movement. Sirocco a stopper is the pad on the back of a dogs leg between the 'ankle' and knee they are the same as the pads on thier feet and easily injured when running over rough ground although my lad rips his on just about any surface!
  9. Well I read all of the farthing woord books and still watch disney films now with my daughter but I was brought up to apprieciate the countryside and the need for vermin control etc. I found the BBC3 series Kill it, Cook it, Eat it very interesting a similar series about hunting, coursing etc may help to give people that proper facts about the why and hows but i'm guessing its too controversial. What makes me laugh is that these people so adverse to hunting will sit and watch ultimate fighting etc on the like of youtube without batting an eyelid!

    Broadband

Ditch, vodafone at home is quite good if you are already a vodafone customer and it gives up to 8meg depending on the area. I'm not sure what I get here but its pretty quick, I think they said its levelled out at about 4meg. There are however cheaper than vodafone, I had a thing through the door today about free bb from talk talk but I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole after the farce they made of my landline.
  11. My dog is forever ripping his stoppers, even just out on exercise. Try wrapping the legs up in a bit of vet wrap, gives a bit of protection. Just don't do it too tight.
  12. Most people see animals in the Walt Disney way, big eyes, cute and hard done by! The amount of arguments i've had with friends etc who don't agree with me going hunting is unreal. Most of my friends now just accept what I do if they don't agree and we just don't really talk about it.
  13. Ouch! All the best for a speedy recovery.
  14. No realtree thongs in this house!
  15. Well thank you very much Zap, it is me, on my birthday in august possibly a little worse for wear! More patter than a shower of hailstones eh?!
  16. hehe Whats said in my private messages stays in my private messages. I love the banter on this forum!
  17. My dogs are predominantly pets although I do want to do more with my lurcher. As for the other two, my ex track bitch is 8 and now too old and my failed track dog has no interest in the chase, which is why he's not on the track, he is only 18 months but has no chase instinct at all. I think my lurcher would benefit from some time on the lamp, he is keen but being inexperienced myself I don't want to push him and ruin him.
  18. Thats what private messaging is for my dear! Ok, thats a joke. I'm a shy retiring being really.

    Shamless

I've never watched it, never really appealed to me but a mate of mine loves it and says I should watch, I just keep forgetting its on!
  20. I'm sure I would Zap. Feel free to give it a go though!
  21. You gentleman you! You are a gentleman aren't you zap?!
  22. I'm not sure about that, from a personal point of view its not that i've become more choosy, i'm just more cautious after one too many bad experiences. I'm not totally adverse to the idea, just only met one person that ever made me want to think of marriage and he stomped all over me, tends to put a girl off!
  23. I nearly got married once. I'm glad I didn't as it would've been the shortest marriage in history! I'm a bit pessimistic about marriage but then I guess i've never met anyone who has made me want to get married and its not looking likely to change just yet either!
