best reply so far now my say if 10lb jr with week mouth fact it is my dog nails a rabbit in a purse net that rabbit can be dead in 1 or 2 seconds by one bite to the ribs end result burst hart and lungs broken back so i cant see how a70lb bull x cant manage the same result rember rabbit is around 3lb so you can :gunsmilie:all do your maths plus i hope bull x have stronger mouth than my jr
I agree. Why is it so hard to believe that a bull x can dispatch a fox in under 10 seconds? Has anyone seen a hound kill a fox pre ban, they are pretty quick and I should imagine a good bull x with a
There is no season for Muntjac so i've been told but they are very shy creatures and you won't see many, especially not in Sussex. What area are you going to? In 26 years of living in Sussex i've only ever seen one Muntjac deer. I'd be a bit wary of hunting the with lurchers pre ban too as they are pretty handy with their tusks but thats just my opinion.
I've said it already but i'll say it again.
It all comes down to common sense! I never leave my dogs with my daughter unsupervised even though i'm 99% sure they'd never hurt her but I refuse to risk that 1% chance!!
In my opinion anyone who leaves any dog along with a young child is asking for trouble...
I have never heard of any bull x lurchers biting people but i'm not as experienced as a lot of people on here.
Any dog can be a stock killer, lurchers tend to have more chance of catching stock at times but i've known collies and labs to kill sheep before because they were never stock trained.
At the end of the day any dog can turn at any point. A responsible owner knows their dog and should train it as they see fit. I trust my dogs implicitly but that doesn't mean that i'd leave them with my daughter unsupervised. With dogs of any breed you have to use common sense and I don't think
I have no problems with bull x. I don't own one but I do know people that do and they are no worse than any other cross in the right hands.
If you have a moron that can't be arsed to train their dog properly then the dog will suffer!
I think Bull x get more flack because of the press surrounding all bull breeds. Again, as far as i'm concerned its mostly down to the owners rather than the dog. I know bull breed dogs that are the most loyal and friendly dogs you could wish to meet. They are more capable of killing a child or another dog but not all of them do, any dog is capable of infli
Hope he is found.
Have you informed lurcher seasch, put up plenty of posters as far and wide as you can, contact all vets, police stations, dog wardens ec, get him as widely known as possible.
Good luck.
Thanks Little Lurcher.
I seem to have a fairly high pain threshold anyway so it wasn't bad although some of the shading was a bit sore in places. I dread to think what it would be like if my spine wasn't so well padded!
Here are mine, expertly taken by my daughter.
The BoP goes from the base of my neck most of the way down my back and the tribal one is a couple of inches below it.
Brilliant, my daughter has a tiny guitar but she only messes about on it at the moment. My mum's OH tried to teach me and found it really hard so credit goes to anyone who can play a tune and make it sound so good!
