I think being gay is a pretty good deal. Imagine having a bird that loves it up the chuff and has the sex drive of a bloke, can lift heavy furniture, drink a pint with you, doesn't give a shit when you leave the toilet seat up, doesn't have a mard on for a week a month and can reverse park. The only downside is they have a hairy bum and can match you in a farting competition. Oh and no tits.

I never really wondered or cared whether any of my friends were gay growing up, so no. I never had any inkling. are you suspicious of everybody you know? I can see your point but he wasn't lying really. I don't think he knew himself what he wanted. When he was ready he told those closest to him. He never made a big thing of it and neither did we. Because it really isn't a big thing.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest. A really good mate I was at school with "came out" a few years ago, I went to his wedding last year. I think him being gay was a bigger deal to him than it was to everyone else, he had kept it in thinking he would be judged when really his closest friends and family etc just want him to be happy no matter what. I can't understand what is so disgusting about two blokes kissing if I am honest, it's just a thing that is happening No different to me than a bloke and a woman. The trespass law was never abolished. A landowner can force you to leave and use reasonable force to do so and bring a civil prosecution against you. The only places there is a "right to roam." is open access land. Not an area of the country I know particularly well. I think Askham Bryan college is around there? They do land based courses. But. What shovel leaner is saying is 100% correct. If you can manage to get away from home. Sparsholt is the top place to go. Would you consider stretching your career aspirations to deer management? If so look into the Forestry Commission. Again you'll need qualifications and experience but their Wildlife Ranger jobs are fantastic.

I think there is a future. Nit sure what it is yet but there will always be a need for gamekeeping type jobs, even if shooting goes completely south and all guns are banned there will always be a need for conservation work. It's becoming a very competitive industry with people in their 40's, 50's etc taking career changes to a job they enjoy rather than being accountants etc as well as the youngsters like yourself. Sounds reasonable. He is only covering his expenses and he is putting any extra (carcass money) into the shoot. If the shoot offered that out publicly they could charge a lot more and both the shoot and the stalker would be better off.

My points weren't really aimed at hunting hares over here. I was trying to draw a parallel to Max's arguments to show the irony and ignorance in what he was saying. It doesn't matter what the species is, you could take Grey Partridge over here. Another BAP species. It more than likely owes it's continuing existence in this country to shooting. Without it There wouldn't be the incentive or the money to manage large areas of land to encourage it and it would decline even further, likely to extinction. Max is an anti and a hypocrite.
