    This forum amazes me. Could you be any more santimonious? Why do you even care? A litter of pups was bred, so what, It happens everyday and i'd be willing to bet these turn out better than most the shit you see advertised on here. The simple reason for that has nothing to do with the breeding, which isnt ideal, but pups have had a decent start and gifted to decent working homes. As it happens they look to be coming on ok, Pennys pair at least. At the day of the day, no one else is feeding them or working them so I honestly cant see what you're so interested for unless its just a chance

    Thanks stealthy, its a bit too early to say, she has several creases that need ironing out, but fingers crossed thats what i'd like her to be!

    She's colliegrayxlurcher, nearly 14 months. She's been coming on well but just had two nights on the lamp where she just couldnt connect. She's done a quite a bit of ferreting but always with one of the other dogs, this was her first trip out alone.

    Willow has been very unlucky on our last few nights lamping so i thought i'd take her out and see if i could get some fur in her mouth this morning. Shes done really well at everything shes tried so far and i dont want her confindence knocked. I fancied a low effort outing so took the new "stealth" box with Tiny, my smallest jill, a handful of nets and the micro shovel. I was having a mooch round some new ground on the way to an old bit so ideally wanted a reccy and a few easy bolts. I made the usual school boy error of trying all the easy buries first and avoiding the hard work ones. This

    I have a big acreage of reclaimed marsh land. Its an absolute b*****d for losing yourself! Its totally flat and all looks the same in the dark. You should be able to get back by using the road lights but the whole place is criss crossed with rifes, once your off track thats it. You can end up seeing where you want to go but being cut off by the rifes and having to back track literally miles. Very easy to miss the bridges in the dark too. Been out there for hours at times!

    Good point, the guy Im talking to is a friend of mine and the seller is a friend of his who I dont know. It only came up because my friend is having his .243 off him and mentioned the .22 in passing. All a bit chinese whispers to be honest, I am awaiting pictures and full make and model details which should shed some light on it. Thanks paulus, i will have another go at googling it with that info

    I like the hunting video. What I dont understand is this fascination some members have of watching other videos. Why would you want to watch a video of a dog being blinded by but eventually killing a leopard? And once you'd watch it why would you want to watch it again? Not after an arguement, its a genuine question?

    Apparently is "Sable" not "Saple"? Still not convinced as the guy whos texting me the details is as dyslexic as the come, bless him. Its a 4 hour round trip to see it and i'd rather have a bit more info before commiting a weekend day to it. Any more thoughts?

    Thats the quandry isnt it? The seasons getting shorter and shorter, the grounds hard and dry now and by the sound of it it'll be frozen hard next week or so. If you wait for it to be perfect you'd only be out a couple of times a season. I have to admit my heart was in my mouth a couple of times over the weekend. Even Parker, who is normally indestructable, was too stiff and sore for bushing on Sunday after running that ground on Saturday. Where is the rain?!?!?

    Nicely done, horses can be an utter minge when they want to be. Had one saturday snorting down the hole at the ferret and then flid out and try and stamp on her before shooting off in a panic! Not only that but they were bullying Blackstaffs lad, miserable sods!
