A 14 year old started up an account for you and then asked for a stud for himself. Hope I'm not being too nosey but how many people use this account? Having a mate who's 14 doesn't make you very old ....now does it Maybe he likes to play with little boys, is that a crime...oh wait, it is f*****g hell, there are some things that you just dont say joke or not. Thats just low. As to the price, who cares? If you think they're expensive then dont buy them, i have no intention of breeding but if i did i would put the price high too. The fastest way to weed out the idiots and v -

No ive not seen anywhere as bad as that for a long time. I dont think the farmer put it down, he would have said and i'd have heard about it if he was getting rabbit problems bad enough to bother himself with. Only change i could see was to do with the ditches, Its out on the marsh so no fencing just rifes, drainage ditches. They've dredged them all out this year which has made the levels drop, perhaps thats encouraged the mossies somehow?

Thanks, we had a great time. It wasnt the great rabbiting bonanza i'd hoped for. Out of the 20+ rabbits caught over the weekend 2 were clean, one got eaten and the other was released in case it carried resistance to the plague! Its the first time ever we've had to go out and buy meat in all the years i've camped there, those few collared doves didnt go far! Sure the rabbits'll recover but i wont be doing much there this season.

Tuesday was our 2nd wedding anniversary. We decided to go away camping for a few days to some permission for a break. Our two bitches typically decided to come into season the week before so had to stay behind but we took the boys and a couple of ferrets. We also took an airgun, lamp and a couple of rods. The plan was for some serious relaxation, a bit of pampering, meals outs, cafe breakfasts etc and to check out this bit of ground for the coming season. It worked perfectly and we had a lovely time! Once we arrived Amy surprised me with my present, a whopping great three bedroom tent! Pro

Very nice, been to marwell?

All depends where you are and what you do, before we moved all my ground was farmed with no shoots around. The odd bit of feather was a bonus for the pot and bothered no one. Now its a bit different, most of the ground locally is shot over and i rely on keepers goodwill for some of my permission. Its now not so handy that the dogs will snap them up so i have to keep a good eye on them especially at this time of year. In my view its all about respect, when the birds are genuinely wild then why not but if someone has worked hard to put them there and relies on results on shoot days for a living

Thats the way to spend the weekend. Well done

Can someone please ban this man, i've been away for four days on holiday and come back and the clown is still going on. How many times does the report button have to be used before the mods take any notice? This site is barely worth going on anymore, it's more like a f*****g playground.

Millet, you're wasting your time. Just let them get on with it

Ok fella whats a dog gonna do if its pulled large edible quarry if ye had taken any ye know a dog aint killing it quick and will hold and shake and if its for the pot ye gonna break your dog off,if ye can call a dog of one your doing well if your letting a dog do the job its gonna make a right mess aint it think about it and dont make ye self look daft I'll not get into specifics with you on here. I know what i have and have not taken, put it this way, If i had time to use a breaking stick then i would also have time to stick the quarry. Once its dead then the dogs leave off. Im not k

Why do you lads care about a mating that happened a while ago? As i remember it the pups were gifted on bar the two she kept back? Wheres the problem? As to the breaking off quarry, theres been a fair bit spoken about it on here recently. When it was legal and my dogs caught they let go once it was dead, why would you want a dog ragging edible quarry? They were the same with fox, i would be pretty pissed off if they wouldnt let go when told. They had no interest once it was dead. I had no idea breking sticks were so common, learn something new every day

Well done mate, i'd be out and buy a lottery ticket while you're on a roll!

My older bitch was an exciting dog to watch as any i've seen, real do or die, BUT, that resulted in a long string of injuries and her being nigh on retired at 4 when she should have been in her prime. My pup for this season, i really hope, should be a bit more sensible. I love watching the nutty ones but now would rather have a dog i can run regular without spending half the season repairing her. Fingers crossed

Drove from here to south of france, its a huge place alot of open spaces and the forest goes for miles. Didnt do any hunting as i was there for work but it was in evidence everywhere. Watched a cracking program on bow hunting boar while sat in a bar. That wouldnt happen here! Personally i'd never turn down the chance to hunt somewhere else, never know whether you'll get the chance again so make the most of it
