    I think it all depends on your definition of average. One mans shit hot maybe another mans shit if you know what I mean? As for tailoring your hunting, that's up to you but if it gives you more enjoyment from the dog why not? An example; I bought a terrier specifically for bushing rabbits to the lurchers. He does that ok (could call it average) but his hearts not in it, he likes and is very good at ratting and other things.     IMO dogs are what you make of them. I've never got rid of a dog and I'm not interested in them being world beaters as long as they are doing their best. I have tried to be very flexible and patient, even if sometimes I find myself questioning my sanity. If the dog excels at one task but not at others I will tailor my hunting to suit but will keep trying to encourage the dog in the direction I initially wanted it to go.     Not been on for a while, but was out bushing earlier and shot a feral out of the railway bridge, dropped in the river and retrieved by the terrier. Like a tit I forgot to take a pic so you'll just have to take my word for it

    Does anyone use a case for their receiver? The touch screen drives me nuts if I put it in my pocket, does all sorts of stuff left to its own devices!

    I did the same with an identical horn thumb stick, pretty sure it is horn it looks identical to mine and mine was, but couldn't get on with it for some reason. I think it was too thick around the base of the forks and just didn't feel right to me.

    Sorry scheme sport, thought you were one and the same Bazil Brush - agreed, I have no doubt everyone misses sometimes, I was only joking about the 100% bit. I was, however, seriously impressed with the video shooting targets in the garage, that was some consistent shooting. Seen plenty of kill shot videos but it doesn't show how many were missed to get that one vid. That's why the target shooting one got me interested and inspired this post gafer - that's good, so I'm still the worst so far lol
