the difference is you have actually done it smithie. not sat behind a keyboard afraid of the dark
  8. it's proper one look at its pointy nose
  9. have you ever wondered why there is only me on here daft enough to engage in conversation with you?
  10. coming from you that's fxxking laughable?
  11. go for it. you will get the best out of him with a couple of ferrets ?
  12. my kind of dog. Iooks a cracking little dog. any ideas how big he will make? what kind of work you plan to do with him?
  13. I think most beddywhippets are the same loads of drive great for ferreting. mine compares with a crocodile for hard mouth.
  14. not seen anything from Mr Wilkes lately? he would usually have commented on this.
  15. Think I read same mate. it said nelsons were softer better quality twine. said advanced was a bit coarse.
  16. advanced netting have been sold out for weeks mate. do you use quick sets for night netting or do you still use traditional?
  17. makes sense tomo but why do they waste about 6 inches at top of pole? I know you can adjust height but all I have seen have top line a long way from top of pole. traditional mines right at top of pegs.
  18. I like the look of that. you see I had a break of around 15 years it was always purse nets for ferreting and longnets for night time. Old fart like me having to adapt to new ways ?
  19. as I have said excuse my ignorance. can you get enough tension in the top line when night netting? are they as tight as traditional? all the ones I have seen have been on YouTube and they don't seem tight enough to me.
  20. ?do they ball bunnies up as well as the traditional ones
  21. question for you katchy excuse my ignorance but why are the poles on quick sets a lot longer than traditional pegs. why is net set higher?
  22. never used baskets only traditional. I thought nelsons was the best design has the poles couldn't get out of sequence. Read were people said poles in other baskets moved about and could get mixed up?
  23. couple of years ago saw a litter advertised what looked like merle whippets. they were 7/8ths whippet 1/8th collie. looked real stunners don't know if they were working stock often wonder how they turned out.
