has winter mixy always been with us? rabbit numbers are very low around me (Derbyshire). all I do is mooch about getting 1s & 2s with dog & Ferret. don't get me wrong I am enjoying it but today dog caught 1 full of mixy. in January I was in Staffordshire & they had mixy there. always used to see it in the summer months.

go with a beddywhippet it's all I use. they will work brambles, hedge bottoms, etc. they make solid marking dogs and are quick enough for bolters and daytime rabbits. if like me you don't lamp it's all you will need.

on a lighter note. most on here have been on a lot longer than me. looking through archive posts. there was some really good regular posts. woodman, peg and gun, mole catcher, map reader, etc. I know 1chap passed away but is there a reason they leave or do they just drift away?
