always thought it was 50-50 myself. Read article recently were Mike brown wrote about Sooty sam, he said if you put him to rubbish you ended up with rubbish. there was only 4 bitches he went to that consistently threw good stuff. so you have a good point

reason I ask a lot of people say Mike brown stuff all big whippets, but some of the bitches only made 18 or 19tts.

a dog only has to be fast enough to get on terms, a good dog knows when to put it on and when to take it off, some super fast dogs never learn and for all that pace it's wasted.

I used to believe the only whippets worth having were the big well made 22tts ones, then someone pointed out to me that the smaller ones are faster, turn better, that bit sharper for ferreting, working small fields hedgerows, etc. compact fast little dogs, mine is 19tts and I find she is plenty big enough.

I always fancied a whippet but stuck with small lurchers for years, was told non ped are faster but peds are better nose, stamina, hunting wise, bit the bullet 2 years ago and having some cracking sport with this little bitch.

I am hoping some experienced dog men will be along soon who can tell us more mate... thinking about it pretty sure tomo commented about it before, hopefully he will again.

I always avoid shyness, skulking at the back etc. strange thing, sure I read it on here is roof of the mouth, make sure it's black and not pink. sounds daft I know but chaps swore by it.

agree with you there mate . this young whippet bitch, I took her out with the beddywhippet but also made sure we had some one to one walks, basics recall, etc, believe it does make a difference.

I think his biggest problem is finding land that actually has something on. being off work last 14 weeks has given me plenty of opportunity to get out and about, cannot believe the vast swathes of land with fxxk all on?

sounds a bit like that Phil Haynes fellow, good friend went to look at some pups few years ago. said he's never heard so much shit in his life, bloke got a catalogue of papers out and went on about his dogs. however he liked the pup's and bought one, it made a cracking bitch one of the best he's had.
