I’ll be going, think I’m there on the Sunday, it’s always a good day out, if nothing else to meet up with a couple of mates and sort out a couple of shooting trips

What I’ve found is do someone a good turn and if they are a proper lad a good deed will be returned to you or passed on to someone else, I don’t do things for anyone wanting something in return but I do get invited all over, I’m off to the northern shooting show this weekend for some hospitality provided by someone I gave a day’s driven pheasant shooting to, fingers crossed he’ll knock me a couple of quid off a new NV scope (lol) the lad turned up earlier with a bottle for me, that’s always great fully received

The deer don’t mean anything to me, I only shoot them to eat, he’s got a proper outlet for them, he used to contract for forestry, when I spoke to him earlier he was trying to give me some of his fox shooting, I told him to leave me it in his will ( lol ) I think I’m going to give the rabbits to a young lad that’s just put in for his FAC

Oh, he’ll sort them, I’ve just rang him to tell him and he laughed and said “ I know “ he was up here first light on Saturday and took 2 fallow, nice that he’s got a smile on his face, he’s had it rough lately

A quality final, Selby had to take some chances taking him out of his comfort zone and it almost paid off, well done to Brecel he really deserved it

Allen made a cracking comeback last night but just not enough, even the commentators past comment on Selby on how long he takes over taking shots and how he drags the game down, I hope Brecel batters the boring tw*t but I can’t see it

I had O’Sullivan/Allen final, O’Sullivan to win, Allen’s a completely different animal now to how he used to be, always seemed to be angry about something and it affected his game, now he looks very focused, he just needs to avoid being dragged into the Selby vortex of boring safety snooker, that Si is quality, I think a Allen/Si final could go either way

I like a bit of dumper work, but preferably an 8 tonne not a 6 and having to move it more than 15 meters, also not having to jump off every 2 minutes to check the level with the laser (lol)

I spoke to them today, I wasn’t going to bother with them been city folk, I was surprised when they said, I can shoot, rabbits, foxes and deer, so I’m having the rabbits and foxes and I’ve passed the deer onto a lad I know who has just lost a bit of his stalking land, just goes to show you should never judge someone by what you think they are ?

Tonnes and tonnes of soil and clay moved today, been rattling around on a dumper all day turning my insides to soup, we are about halfway through now then we can put drains in and start leading stone in
