Couple of theses tonight, it’s not bad, I tried the hawkstone lager a few weeks back and that was terrible

I’ve done my fair share of tracks in swamps, normally on his 8 tonne, luckily this was the little one and it was in his garden

Ask the lad about building control and he said “ who’s building control “ I don’t know if he was joking or not, so left it at that. So everything is down to the level it needs to be and the type one is coming on Monday, quick job on the way home for my mate and that’s me done for the week, don’t know why he can’t put a track on his own digger

Little dilemma, second part of the concrete floor out and there’s another one under it, only this one is exactly the height my stone needs to be, now building control will say it needs to come out, if it was mine I would visqueen it and pour the concrete, but that’s the customers decision

Toad in the hole again tonight, did the yorkie pud mix with sage and onion powder, it was very nice

Getting on well with this, I think we should have it all out for tomorrow and another day to put the sub base in, the lad who owns it has been with us all day and he’s a proper grafter, so what was looking like a week should be done in 3 days

I was in darlo last week, went down one street in the middle of the day and every other house had a tranny tipper on the drive, ether tree surgeon, driveway’s or guttering/roofing and the drives that didn’t have a tranny on had a new caravan ( lol )

Rest of the trees down and cut up, my little 16” saw worked a treat, even on the big bugger

Pork choppy things again tonight, cheap as chips and the missus likes them

I think there’s 9 to come down and one of them is a big bugger, I would of thought for 2800 the would be chipping them and taking it away

Well, I’m going to start the floor job on Wednesday, mate mentioned he needed some trees down so he could have solar panels installed, £2800 for someone to do it, day rate hfor me

Dug out, bit of old rubble in, now it’s the brickies turn, I might go and have a look at that floor removal job

Just digging out today, I’ve been asked if I want to take concrete floors out of a house, lad thinks it will take me about 10 days, I could start tomorrow, so I need to have a think about it

It’s just full of scummy horrible people now, it used to be a good day out, it will be 15 years since I last went and it was a going down hill then, I don’t know anyone who goes now

Just me to feed today, so I went for, chicken, chorizo, spinach pasta and it was lovely

View from my office today was just trees and flies but at least both pheasant pens are now repaired

Yeah, boil it for a minute, put in ice water, dry it off, bit of rapeseed oil and sea salt, in the griddle pan for 2 minutes, it’s lovely, still got a nice crunch to it

Homemade chicken Kiev rapped in Serrano ham, with jersey royals and British asparagus, as always, tasted better than it looks

I know, I’ve felt guilty all day so I’m going to go and repair my pheasant pens on Sunday to make up for it I haven’t broken the news to her yet that there will be no Sunday dinner, wish me luck

Mrs Stav doesn’t do cooking, she’s got me for that, or washing up, she’s got a dishwasher for that, or house work, she’s got a cleaner for that ( lol )

Had a day off today so just pottered about, made a chicken and leek pie for tea, with some hasselbacks and tender stem, even Mrs stav complimented me how nice it was, that doesn’t happen often
