I have bred my current stud to some other blacks.I have bitches from my foundation studs half brother to another line.I have my bases covered but will continue this inbreeding with a few.Its hard to keep them small enough as most Americans have already stated on here. -

My dad a retired jag man told me the same thing. I asked this question on y'all's side hoping for different opinion.? All my terriers are from one stud. What I refer to as my family was from breeding stud to mother then best daughter to him took male from this and bred to his mother ECT ECT -

I was sent a white bitch who I tested thoroughly. She had the jacket of a Lakeland and a top knot like a beddie. She was very close to perfect in my eyes and I tried everything to prove my blackens was better. She would not try for dispatch she would catch the quarry with her mouth to neutralize it and would bark out of the side of her mouth. At 10 year old I bred her to my foundation male. The best otter Hunter I have ever seen came from this and the ugliest. This bitch is about to finish her fifth season. She has 3 layers to her jacket which is useful in rivers in winter. She is the best -

Waz you just solved the problem with all working canines in USA.All canines here are judged by a few individual feats They should be judged by number of hard seasons worked. -

The law's are done by each state for each species. So really depends on your chosen quarry.Coons hogs coyote groundhog possum beaver are open year around in my area.Other areas are totally different. Exactly ? -

I dug out a few old pictures. They are 15-20 year old from a disposable camera so poor quality. It is another form of terrier work in America.Thought y'all might enjoy them. Most hogs were taken live handcuffs hold them well but my dad made hobbles that worked good.I have been to the woods with hundreds of so called breeds of hog dogs and hunted with one of the founding members of American bulldog. When your legging a hog you must trust the dog holding it.The only ones I trusted were apbt. -

I have personally seen a coyote bitch lure a coondog away.He could handle his own though but was jumped by two males. This coonhound weighed eighty pounds -

Nice Dropbox. They use the same here. I mostly walked alone with a runner.I tried some of these lurchers on whitetail deer as there is places here to run deer with dogs.I never was successful as our Fields are generally small but it made my heart pump to watch a deer run so fast that they belly appeared to touch the ground.Their body would appear 8 ft long ? -

Nice pic.In Dixie there is no Fields as big as the Midwest states have.So several get away but it works the same. -

Mounted coyote hunts are starting to frown on lurchers here too.I learned a lot from the English houndsman but honestly I couldn't understand the Irishman and he couldn't understand me as I speak southern (record player dragging accent) But he was happy to send me what I needed.I will always be grateful to these men. When I got out of lurchers I sent the best one to the drunk banker lady. She is still catching coyotes with him. -

1of1 breed your redboy dog to greyhound bitch. They are also fun for catching bolts. The mounted hunt packs I have been with was for coyote no digging. 15 couple hounds roughly.Once hounds put enough heat on coyote he will cut across open field that's when they radio for 4x4 lurcher truck driven by drunk banker lady. She will get close and release lurchers. From what I seen they must be at least a quarter bull.thats from what I've seen. -

There are hundreds everywhere but they are smart.you cannot kiss them in like fox here.they usually sleep in culvert or briar patch.I know an Englishman and an Irishman who moved here when UK laws changed. They brought their hounds and lurchers. They are what we call master of hounds in charge of a hunt for rich men. This is where I received my lurchers.I asked for one and was gifted several. They ride horses in a suit and holler tally ho.I love it but can't afford hounds lurchers horses and thousands of acres. -

Mr King a predator call lamp and bull lurcher is fun but you can't call a coyote twice generally.
